The room was comfortable, well furnished and the location is much better than we expected. The air conditioner and fan work great. There is a place for luggage and one chair in the room. Please note. This is across from Black Thunder, a water amusement park and the Bird park. There are many auto rickshaws across the street and the hotel will order a taxi if needed. It was less than 10 minutes on an auto rickshaw to the train station. Others have mentioned the good availability of restaurants nearby so I will not add to that. The people who work at Aarka want to please and make this place successful. This is a two month old property, there are many plans for growth. They are off to a great start. We were impressed with all the new growth in this area. Lots of new restaurants and shops.

As the summer heat became unbearable, we looked for a peaceful escape and found exactly that at Memories at the Blue Mountain in Kotagiri. The property is beautifully located amidst tea estates, away from the crowds and surrounded by greenery. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with large balconies overlooking the tea gardens. What truly made our stay special, however, was the hospitality of Mr. Sajan George and his wife. They welcomed us like family and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The home-cooked food was excellent, with every meal offering something different and delicious. We also loved the friendly animals around the property, especially Pluto, the energetic Golden Retriever. This was much more than just a stay—it was a warm and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, nature, and genuine hospitality in Kotagiri.
