Wai is a quiet village/town and there is not much to see and...
Wai is a quiet village/town and there is not much to see and do except to soak in the serenity and peace. You should ideally have your own vehicle to travel to different places. The Mapro garden was a good visit. The temples are a bit dilapidated and do not have the usual hustle bustle.
The Dhom Dam area is a good place to visit to see the sunset.

Yes my trip to Wai was peaceful as a solo traveler I wanted to visit a place which is safe and can understand languages and good food and that's all what I got...dams l, mountains, clouds , fog, greenery,roads all felt like a movie going on.

It is a small beautiful place with excellent nature.
It is a small beautiful place with excellent nature. Visit to Dhom Dam and boating in the backwater is a treat especially with serene surroundings. Visit to Menawalighats and Nana Phadanvis wada were very nice. Wada has very tourist fraindly atmosphere. Place is ideal for days outing.

Good location on the way to Mahabaleshwar, if you don’t get...
Good location on the way to Mahabaleshwar, if you don’t get a stay you are looking for in Mahabaleshwar then I would recommend you take the entire day to site seeing and then stay in Wai. But if you are planning for more than a day then better to stay in Mahabaleshwar.

Horrifying stay at Anandvan Holiday Homes, Wai.
Horrifying stay at Anandvan Holiday Homes, Wai. Owner is literally threatening to seize my car and stop allowing to go out from their property even though there was no payment issue. This type of threatening you will also get if you ask for only 30 minutes of stay extension at this property. Owner said don't take panga with local wai person else will face consequences. Instead of helping guests, owner looks like gunda of Wai who gives threatening to their guests on request on 25 to 30 minutes in vacating the room.
