Location was perfect for our three generation family to spread out after a week of traveling in Iceland. Great location to visit Husavik, Myvatn and Akureyri as easy to get to all the roads. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes.

Wonderful, expansive room and buildings. Nice, safe campus which I came to learn is used as a boarding school in the Fall, Winter and Spring. One of the best breakfasts in our stay while in Iceland. Fresh fruit, no less.

We had a very pleasant stay at Guesthouse Hvítafell. The room was nice, with a comfortable bed that made for a good night’s sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals, which was very convenient. Although we didn’t use it, there’s a hot tub available for guests - a lovely option after a day of exploring. The location is excellent, just a short drive to Geosea, which was a must-visit for us and a real highlight of the area. Overall, a welcoming and practical place to stay while visiting this part of Iceland.

Extremely good, Adalsteinn and his wife were so kind, friendly and helpful. Location is amazing, a good place to take good pictures and enjoy the nature. For sure we would back
