United StatesWe loved this place and Melania, the friendly and gracious and thoughtful host. While the main highlight is probably the large and wonderfully furnished terrace with its beautiful view, there is so much more to rave about. Melania has thought of every detail, from the food and beverages in the kitchen to anything you might need in the bathroom plus some flowers to add a even more cheer to this already cheerful place. We felt right at home and wished we could have stayed longer. Melania went over everything when we arrived. But beyond that, she was very caring toward me, as I had just been involved in an accident. She was very accommodating toward us as our plans changed due to the time I spent in a hospital, and she also showed great concern for me before, during and after our stay. Thank you, Melania. We highly recommend La Petite Maison.

Aci Castello is fine for a brief few-hour visit to see the historic castle, but I highly recommend staying elsewhere. The area feels quite isolated and far from everything you might need. We found the local amenities severely lacking, with a very limited number of cafes and shops. If you enjoy walking, you will likely be disappointed; there is zero nature, and the main promenade is heavily congested with traffic rather than being pedestrian-friendly. Overall, it lacks a comfortable, livable atmosphere, and there just isn't much to do or see beyond the main landmark

It is a nice place if you chose to stay near Catania, but you need a car to get there. The parking is ok - there are a couple of parking lots near by. Since it was end of the season there were lots of places for free ( white lines). The apartment is nicely designed and has plenty of space, and the balcony overlooks the sea, and the view is stunning. The bathroom, however, needs to be freshened up, especially the plumbing and the shower. The owners might have been more outgoing and friendly.

Aci Castello (AC) is located a 15 minute drive from central Catania and therefore is out of the fray, as we say. The AC promenade has stunning scenery and south of AC is home to many lidos i.e., beach resorts. AC is close to Catania City Center, Mt. Etna and Taormina, three must-see attractions. You will need to rent a car or motor scooter as there looked to be very little public transportation in the AC area.

Very beautiful quiet place! The sea is clean and beautiful.
Very beautiful quiet place! The sea is clean and beautiful. Nearby is the volcano Etna.
In the town there are many cafes and restaurants on the embankment.
I recommend renting a canoe and a catamaran, go on an excursion to the volcano.
The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, it is clean and cozy. The owner helped us with all our questions.

We were there for 3 days in mid-February.
We were there for 3 days in mid-February. And these were wonderful sunny days in a good place. What struck us most was the fresh fruit every day that grew on the trees - tangerines, oranges, lemons. And these are the most delicious fruits we have ever tasted. Very friendly hosts. The only thing we were not used to was that it was warmer outside than in the house. We had to constantly turn on the air conditioner. Of the minuses, the fold-out sofa is not very comfortable. Otherwise, everything is great.

My favourite spot was having a beer at the beach kiosk. Would have loved to stay longer to explore more restaurants as we didn't manage to find a perfect one. Loved walking around in the evening and there even was the festa.

very nice and well-kept apartment, In the bulding wonderful staircase !!! very nice and helpful owners and people living in the building. We also got Sicilian sweets, beautiful area, Very tasty restaurants and two large supermarkets nearby. We will come back

Excellent location - within walking distance there are grocery stores, restaurants and cafes. Two bedrooms are very spacious, and the third has a sofa bed, suitable for children, for example.
