Hotel Sporting Club is an absolute gem in Sicily. The location is great just 20 minutes by car from Palermo and 40 minutes to Cefalù. Welcomed from the moment we arrived by Fabio who is very kind and helpful receptionist. Mariano was one of the staff who took really good care of everything we asked. The hotel has its own private beach, also offers an outdoor pool. From sea-view balcony we could watch the beautiful sunset and sunrise on the Mediterranean Sea. Sitting at the restaurant balcony for breakfast table, we watch the sea stretch into an endless, shimmering expanse of deep indigo while we listened to the relaxing music played by a stylish pianist lady . One night we went to the bar and one night to the restaurant, we could see the dark, glistening water stretches into the horizon, catching the silver reflection of the moon. Bar lights twinkle overhead, casting a cozy glow over our table while we enjoyed the live music too. The whole vibe is calm and caring. the hotel combined comfortable and stylish elements. It feels like a quiet retreat where every detail was made to help guests relax. I love travelling so I have gone to a lot of 4- and 5-star hotels, but Hotel Sporting Club felt like a dream. I highly recommend Hotel Sporting Club to anyone visiting Sicily.

what an amazing awesome beautiful villa ,everything you need...

what an amazing awesome beautiful villa ,everything you need is on site ,the gardens, the pool,the villa were all perfect we had over our stay eleven of our family stay and they all want to go back the hosts are amazing helpful and attentive the local village beautiful people you do need a car because of location but the location is worth it we fell in love with the villa

This accommodation and place are something wonderful for a family. Upon arrival, the owner greeted us with a smile and introduced us to the house and all its amenities. The house has absolutely everything you need and what you have at home. The location is ideal and quiet because you are not in crowded Palermo and the distance is about 20 minutes drive to Palermo. Sicily has remained in our very fond memories and we will definitely come back again.

It is one of many pretty towns and villages along the coast.

It is one of many pretty towns and villages along the coast. The value of the location is its closeness to Palermo to drive in, also giving access to other north coast towns as well as the motorway and dual carriageway.

great accommodation, electricity kept tripping off, extra high charge for electricity for heating water, cooking etc. Spacious, great veranda. Check in very hard if cannot speak italian, had to collect keys in next village. Lots of extra costs like host wanted to charge us 50 euro for rubbish collection

I loved the hotel I stayed at but it was difficult to get...

I loved the hotel I stayed at but it was difficult to get around and the staff suggested that I go to Cefalu for the day instead of Altailla Milicia. Cefalu is beautiful and a big tourist attraction but I waned to see the town of my heritage.

🙂 very clean, excellent breakfast choices, friendly staff in the hotel and lunch bar, nice pool, lovely sea view. 😟 Late check in time especially if you’ve been on a morning flight. The reception staff didn’t inform us that they’d overbooked the weekend we arrived and gave us a double room instead of a the Triple sea view room after taking payment. This was corrected the following day. If you stay here you need a car if not you are stuck and can only use the hotel bar at lunch and restaurant at night. Taxis are very expensive! Head waiter in the restaurant was not pleasant.
