The apartment looks much better than the pictures show. A very pleasant surprise! The family really liked it, they were ready to move in :) Brand new renovation, very spacious, clean. Large rooms, air conditioning in each room. Very tasteful and large bathroom. Well-stocked large kitchen. The capsule coffee machine and some coffees waiting for you was a godsend! I really liked the large balcony around the apartment. Very good access to the capital (near the airport), a very good option for a night's stay.

We chose Assemini for our last night in Sardinia because...

We chose Assemini for our last night in Sardinia because it's close to Cagliari airport and is well connected to both the airport and city by train. But actually it's quite a characterful little town. We didn't spend long there - literally, it was an overnight stay - but we were impressed by the range of places to eat. The local people seemed very friendly. The owners of Il Girasole, and the other guests staying there, were very welcoming towards us, as were the staff and other diners at the pizzeria (Mignon) that we went to for an evening meal.

Located in Assemini, a small town not far from Elmas airport, Martina B&B was an absolute dream. Everything had been thought of, you get a fridge shelf full of snacks, water, coffee, and a breakfast ticket (on top of the snacks available at the property) at an excellent cafe nearby. And the room, too: with handpicked shampoo, comfy pillows, a balcony of your own and the whole room made more like a home than a hotel. 100/100

We received a very warm welcome from the host, with very good advice and recommendations for visiting the best of the region. The facilities offered at the B&B are of the highest quality and comfort. We had a car from the airport nearby, and it is very easy to move around the area and park. Assemini also offers an excellent cafe just minutes away!
