The staff were very sympathetic to us, they had always good advices on where to eat and what to visit. The place was ultra clean, with some great and classy decorations. The room had every amenities you could need during your stay, and some extra (candies and tea). The bed was confortable. The breakfast was perfect, it was more on the sweet side, but as french, we enjoyed it to the fullest. There were some great and local products. The b&b is near Stresa (10 min by car). The unobstructed view from our balcony out across the southwestern end of Lake Maggiore was beautiful. We also enjoyed the breakfast of fresh pastries and other European fare. Natalino, who co-owns this historic family villa with his brother, was such an interesting person who seemed to take delight in sharing with me (in English) the history of the Villa pre–WW I, the tragic role it played in WW ll, and how his family eventually became the owners of it. Our conversation was a highlight, along with the stunning lake view, of our visit here.

What a gorgeous escape and magical place, tucked away on an Italian island. The ferry was fun, even in the rain, and it was a great adventure with my parents, who have stayed here a few times. I paid less than they did, so they had a fantastic corner view of the lake room, which I recommend. My room was comfortable, clean, and private, and the bathroom was spacious, unlike others I encountered during my trip. I truly enjoyed the three nights here, and the local shops/kiosks and meandering streets/paths are delightful. The restaurant at the hotel is a gem: our fish dishes were so yummy, and the service was good. This is perfect for a special occasion. +I wanted to buy and eat everything!

We had such an amazing and the most pleasant experience! It was so wonderful that we decided to extend our stay - that's how much we enjoyed it! This hotel is an absolute gem - great location, in the centrum of tiny Angera on the Lake Maggiore - wonderful views all day long, especially from rooftop terras of the breakfast restaurant. Just magnificent! Very clean, comfortable room, great bed and shower. There is also an award worthy restaurant that serves the most delicious food ever - I warmly recommend it to everyone. Furthermore, the staff of the hotel as well as the staff of the restaurant is incredible, they do their absolute best to make you feel welcome, comfortable and all-around pampered. Hotel offers free use of bicycles - convenient and such a lovely experience to leisurely bike around town and the lake. If you are coming by car - there are plenty of spaces to park in front - some free and some with extra charge. All in all - superb!

Gorgeous hotel, stunning location on the lake, my room had a balcony which I used everyday, roof deck was great for breakfast and aperitivo. But the highlight was the service - very charming and attentive and helpful hospitality from the owners and all of their staff.

We enjoyed every detail of our stay at the hotel. The design of the room was absolutely stunning, and we felt cared for every single moment. My partner celebrated his birthday during our visit, and he was so touched when the team surprised him with a small birthday cake and a candle while we were enjoying breakfast in the unique garden. The private spa in the room was a true gem that we thoroughly enjoyed. The only thing we didn’t like was how short our time was in this wonderful place.
