I had nice views of the mountains, a small piazza, and part of the church. Great location and excellent breakfast with so many choices. The staff were friendly and I appreciated the luggage storage that I used both before check-in and after check-out. Also easy few minutes walk from the bus stop.

Such a cute hotel, it was raining, but we made the best of it. Walked around the lake area had some drinks very quiet because of the rain went to a nice restaurant on the property which I can’t remember the name, but it was delicious.

Cannobio is a nice size, there are plenty of nice...

Cannobio is a nice size, there are plenty of nice restaurants, the scenery is fantastic, and in general it is just an interesting town to wander around. Lago Maggiore is gorgeous and the hills are traversed by many well-maintained walking paths. We visited in June, tourists were numerous but not excessively so, predominantly German or Swiss German. We found the local Italians friendly and helpful and as willing to speak a bit of English as German.

I have been going to Cannobio for nearly thirty years it is a little gem on Lago Maggiore and is the essence if an Italian town. There are not many English or UK tourists, which makes it good to practise Italian. It sits on the lake with an amazing Sunday market and emits a feeling of comfort and home for me I should say its horrible to keep it a little secret but it is a great place to visit with amazing restaurants and good quality food with prices for all budgets and campsites too

I`ve been visiting Cannobio on and off over the past 14 years. My favourite place on Lago Maggiore and beats Lake Como! Most of its charm derives from its wide, 700 year old piazza overlooking the lake and back by a beautiful, well preserved and well maintained old town. Good food and a variety of restaurants. Wonderful atmosphere.

Historic village - small town out of late medieval times

Historic village - small town out of late medieval times with a lovely position on Lago Maggiore. Also very nice area, maybe visit Lago di Orta with Orta San Giulio or Pella. Scenic side roads, not overcrowded. Small villages close by.

Cannobio was great, the piazza were full of people enjoying the warm sunshine beside the lake!! It was wonderful 👌 We’d love to come back to this gorgeous village, the markets on Sunday were outstanding with lots of clothes, jewellery etc not sure how often they’re on. We stumbled on them accidentally and were very happy 😀

It has - a pedestrian zone in the historic city center with a lot of little shops - a nice litte harbour area with some restaurants and a really good ice cream shop - beautiful surroundings (Lago Maggiore, Monte Giove, Monte Carza, Valle Cannobio Good starting point for hiking adventures!

A beautiful house with a very beautiful, very private garden. The views on the hill slopes are great and the pool is big, quite deep and was cleaned several times. The house works fine although a bit old especially downstairs. The location is great, only a few minutes walk to the promenade in Cannobio and supermarket only 300m away. Even though very centrally located, it was very quiet. Private parking space within garden fence is great.

We loved our stay here! Beautiful out of the way location in quiet peaceful neighbourhood. We always enjoyed the 30minute walk into Cannobio and the shorter walk to Orrido di Sant’anna where you can swim. The terrace was perfect with a lovely view of the mountains and Francesca and Mauro were such nice hosts. We would definitely come back here!

It’s a small family run hotel which means the whole experience feels personal. The rooms are beautifully designed, the breakfast was amazing ( cold meats and cheeses, fruit, fresh orange juice, granola, pastries etc). It was our second time there and we look forward to returning. We had dinner there one night too which was excellent.

Amazing hotel right in the heart of Cannobio, walking distance to everything! The room we had was amazing, really unique and had a lovely balcony/terrace. We visited as part of our honeymoon and they left us some biscuits as a special treat! The breakfast was also amazing and the communal areas.
