This location and property are idyllic and charming. Hotel Unterrain truly sits in a vineyard and orchard owned by the family. Walking distance to San Paolo and the castles was reasonable and somewhat challenging, which we liked. The indoor pool facility was lovely. The breakfast provided daily surpassed our expectations in variety, quality, and freshness. The Family is extremely welcoming and accommodating. They made us feel at home despite our language barrier. We would recommend this property.

The hotel has a great location, close to the downtown and surrounded by amazing vineyards and a beautiful views to the mountains. Breakfast is really good and the staff so friendly

Great breakfast, helpful staff. We stayed here on a bike tour to wait out a rain day; they had a nice bike garage. The staff arranged massages for us, and we enjoyed the indoor pool and spa area.

Wonderful stay with an exceptional family. Though buses are close a car helped. Great selection at breakfast. Loved the room! Architecture fed my soul!

Wonderful location, only 2-3 min walk from train station. Room has a balcony and a good view facing the mountains.

This is a well maintained property centrally located with a nice view of the of the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a variety of choices. Many things to see and do within walking distance, train station near by. We would stay here again.

We picked this hotel because of their promotion video. The owners and staff were the best. We loved everything about this hotel: breakfast, views, warm pool, 5 course dinners( great price),vineyards, bike paths , saunas and walking to the castle museum. We went on a wine tour with bikes, great hikes and walked around some of the beautiful near by towns. It always felt nice coming back to Hotel Sigmundskron to relax. We highly recommend this hotel.

Truly a beautiful stay. We sincerely appreciated the upgrade to a newly renovated suite and overlooked the vineyard. Exceptional breakfast service and lovely touch to offer variety of their property’s wines in the room. Bellisimo!

Breakfast great, as well as staff.

The room was large with a comfortable bed, the bathroom was spacious with the shower properly palced without needlessly wetting the whole room. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh with something for everyone. The Hotel is close to the Industrial area of Bolzano and the airport but you need transport to visit the city centre. Overall relaxing
