Our room had the most spectacular view we have ever enjoyed. Nice little place, good location in town. LOTS of stairs in Gangi, and the last stairway to the entrance is very steep. But my 84 year old mother made it (barely) but said it was worth it for the view. Breakfast coupon for coffee and baked good from the nearby bar was nice. Parking was fine, about a 5 minute walk away.

Really special place. We enjoyed our stay so much meeting Salvatore and Angela. We had dinner there based on previous reviews and it was so delicious. Breakfast as well was wonderful. The best part was meeting Salvatore and Angela. The place is very clean and rooms well thought out. Everything was very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed another night.

The hosts were so kind and helpful. They upgraded me to a ground floor room due to my foot injury. Made wonderful recommendations for restaurants. Beds very comfortable normally i find beds in europe a little too firm. Loved the coffee machine in the room and wonderful spaciuos shower

a dump of a place with very little life and a nightmare to...

a dump of a place with very little life and a nightmare to negotiate in a car. The streets are narrow twisted and there are no indicators as to what is a thru road and what is a dead end. we drove in a lot of hill towns and this was the only won that was particularly difficult. it seems to have no restaurants and nothing of interest GIVE IT A BIG MISS

Gangi won the award for best village in Italy 7 years...

Gangi won the award for best village in Italy 7 years running. It is very historical and located 1000 metres high near the Madonie mountains with outstanding scenery. Best to park at the top of the village where the tourist trail around the village starts

Gangi is my mother's hometown and I've been traveling there...

Gangi is my mother's hometown and I've been traveling there since I was a toddler. Among the top tourist destinations, you should check out include: The Chiesa Madre or Chiesa San Niccolo (in the town's main piazza) The church of the Holy Spirit (Spirito Santo) The Arab Tower (located at the base of the town) Ventimiglia Castle Crypy of mummified priests Gangi Vecchio (short distance from tour) original site of Engyon

Gangi is a very well-kept borgo on the way to the Parco di...

Gangi is a very well-kept borgo on the way to the Parco di Madonie...it is amazingly built up on a hill with the Duomo showing from kilometres away being on the highest point of the hill. The Borgo can also be seen from the road, cut off imposingly surrounded by luscious greenery and lovely scenery. Restaurants and cafeterias are in abundance. We had a lovely dinner at the newly renovated "Baglio Tramontana" in Via Castello - highly recommended for service and food. The view from its terrace is breathtaking, if one happens to be there at sunset. Walking around Gangi means one has to master quite a number of uphills and then downroads in order to reach the main road Via Marone (where our pensione was) and Via Nazionale, leading to other major roads.

Al Centro had the makings of an excellent property. It was the most modern of those we visited in Sicily – in terms of lighting, flooring, bathroom, shower, electrical outlets, roll-down window covers, and a glorious oversized porch/patio with a superb view of Gangi and the valley below.

The breakfast ( and evening meal) were delicious. Aldo and his family were lovely and very helpful. We really appreciated Carmello and Peira driving us into Gangi and picking up up, as it was too far to walk.
