Excellent central Lecco location right near the lake and many shops and restaurants. Large and very clean apartment with everything you need. Owners are great and very accommodating. Nice views from a balcony in our room. Communication is prompt. I highly recommend this as one of the best places to stay in central downtown Lecco.

Lecco is a great place as a starting point for discovering...

Lecco is a great place as a starting point for discovering Lake Como and the area around it. Milano is less than an hour drive, and even shorter by train. The train is very cheap and saves you the aggravation of finding a parking place, which can be very expensive in Milano! Not to mention the risk of entering the ZTL-area in the city centre without a proper permit (which you can't buy in advance) and getting fined for it. Lecco is less crowded than Como and cleaner. Bellano has a beautiful sandy beach, with a nice bar and restaurant next to it, and great views of the lake. Abbadia Lariana has a very nice pebble beach, which is very quiet, and much closer than Bellano. Take the cable car to the Piani d'Erna to enjoy wonderful views of Lecco and its surroundings. Plus the opportunity to have a nice walk around and meet herds of sheep, goats and mules. Just a few examples of making the best out of your stay in Lecco!

The town is small but pretty with nice views of the lake and a nice promenade to walk along. The city center has many nice restaurants. You can take the ferry or bus or train to travel to other towns located at the See.

Pleasant town on banks of Lake Como.

Pleasant town on banks of Lake Como. Ferries available to explore further. Decent restaurant options. Can get very crowded in Summer so go early or late in the season. Convenient rail link to Milan just 45 minutes away. Town is very walkable. Small weekend market available.

Excellent well connected base to explore Lake Como on the...

Excellent well connected base to explore Lake Como on the very affordable ferry from the terminal. No large crowds when were were there in June, and lovely staff. Several restaurants though few shops, but the bustling busier tourist resorts area easily reached. I would recommend Lecco. We arrived from Milan by direct train and traveled on to Bergamo from here and were there in just over an hour. An excellent base.

Loved Lecco, looked around lots of the local shops and many places to eat. Live music in the street on one night and beautiful by the lake. Everything we visited was within 30 mins walking distance from eachother. Would DEFINITELY come again.

It had everything but wasn’t as touristy like Como or Bellagio. Perfect. The booked walk up the bell tower was great. Bus No 5 ride to the cable car brilliant. Food and drinks spot on. The lake was beautiful.

This hostel is just perfect. Very lively, rooms are clean, shower gel and soap available in the bathroom, what I appreciated is also the small separate changing area within the room, good WiFi connection and the fact it's possible to get food/drinks right in the hostel. Breakfast selection was also great, it's not typical in Italy that for such a good price you'd get fresh food + drinks. Very nice!

it was a great stay. Beds were really comefortable breakfast was great fresh bread, good italian cheese great pastry if you like sweet for breakfast. for lunch and dinner i recommend restaurant in the hotel. it is pricy but worth it. how often do you stay in a hotel with Michelin star restaurant? we got to the hotel by train from Lecco . better train than bus in my opinion as faster.

We had a pleasant stay at SoloSonno. The check-in process was simple and clear, making everything easy from the start. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is convenient, within walking distance of the train station and a short walk from the lakefront and the center of Lecco. A good choice for exploring Lake Como and the surrounding area.

The hotel was small but comfy, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was plentiful. Parking was easy and access to the parking plaza behind the hotel made for very easy entry and exit to the hotel. The location was good and there were plenty of nearby coffee bars and restaurants which made it a comfortable stop in Lecco.
