The property is freshly renovated and pristine, surrounded by beautiful views and nature, the room was way bigger and nicer than we expected and absolutely spotless, with everything working great (water pressure, air conditioning, different light configurations etc). The shower with the glass wall was definitely a highlight. We were greeted with delicious wine that is made on the premises and a variety of local snacks (tomatoes and olive oil also from the farm). Alfredo and Angela were incredibly hospitable and warm, going out of their way numerous times to help us with anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and pastries (some with jam made by Angela herself) as well as eggs etc available upon request. The road to get there is a bit tricky but our Hyundai Tucson fit just fine and we went back and forth multiple times at day and night. Parking is available on premises and the fig tree even provides shade.

The property is in the excellent location with an amazing view of the volcano Vesuvius. The patio is a really spacious space for a family gathering with a stunning view of the castle and the volcano. The apartment is very spacious with large bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has all the appliances necessary to make a meal.

The location was perfect, a 5 minute walk from the train and a 12 minute walk to the entrance of the ruins. The breakfast buffet was in a beautiful room on the lower level, with everything you could ask for. There was a small shared patio on the upper floor, perfect for relaxing after hours of walking in the ruins. The location, on a side street was great, it was quiet and little smell of car exhaust. We got to the ruin when it first opened in the morning, so it was not crowded. The second day we took bus 808 to the stop at almost the top of the volcano, and walked along the top. We brought a picnic lunch there and enjoyed the view. The hotel had a small book exchange,

Lettere is a small town up hill. The view is spectacular.

Lettere is a small town up hill. The view is spectacular. You can just stay in a good home stay or resort and enjoy the panoramic views of the Bay, Mountains and the town down the hill. The balcony views are lke view points. Driving through the lanes of Lettere is tough specially if you are driving in a big car. Small cars are advisable. GPS navigations dont work properly. It is better to download one or have a physical map. Mobile signals are poor in the area. Wifi is also weak. But the local people are lovely and helpful. They greet you warmly, talk with you and help you wholeheartedly
