Our room was spacious with modern facilities that made our stay comfy and pleasant. We even had a small garden for ourselves with a lovely lemon tree, table and chairs and enjoy the view over the village. I truly embrace the way the hotel is designed with the blend of nature into the stay of the guests, we had breakfast with the view to the garden and could go out and walk under the trees. Breakfast was generous but I wish the bread and croissant could be warmed up for guests during freezing days. The owner was kind and very helpful. Love chatting with him to understand more about the village, weather, how people there works and lives... Location was great, just a short distance from the station and restaurants. However, the way up is steep and can be a challenge for those with heavy suitcases - better leave yours in public lockets.

The property is on a beautiful location with amazing views. The host, Gianluca, was extremely helpful. He came to meet us by the train station; he provided us with so much information as far as the trails, sights to visit, trains, ferry schedules, etc The staff was friendly and the property was very clean.

Fantastic location. Amazing Uninterrupted sea views and of Manarola. Easy walk from train station with no steps . (Accommodation has steps) . Very quiet . Clean and tidy . Kettle , fridge and plates/bowls/cutlery supplied to allow basic self catering . We stayed in the terrace room which had a large deck with sun beds and table which was handy to rehab after day of walking .

A few days didn't feel like enough to explore Cinque Terre! It's such a beautiful and wonderful destination. Some people say it can be done as a day trip, but you won't be able to fully appreciate everything it has to offer. It's a little further from Italy's major cities, but it's absolutely worth the journey. There are lots of stairs, so I'd recommend packing light and avoiding large suitcases if possible. We'd definitely love to visit again.

We loved staying in Manarola.

We loved staying in Manarola. It was our favorite view in Cinque Terre and, by staying there, we could enjoy the city in the less crowded moments of the day. It has really good restaurant options, like the unmissable Cappun magru, the Focacceria A piè de Campu and the Trattoria dal Billy. It was very easy to take the bus to Volastra and visit the winery Cantina Capellini and have a great wine tasting with the most amazing view. With the Cinque Terre ticket for a single day, people who are staying in Manarola have unlimited access during the entire stay to access the Via dell'Amore, to go back and forth and visit Riomaggiore. And, of course, visiting the other Terre's is very easy and quick using the train. The only negative of staying here was the amount of service noise very early (like 6am). Maybe it's a general issue in the region. But there was what sounded like trucks loading and unloading and lots of glass bottles clinking.

Manarola has everything to offer.

Manarola has everything to offer. Many delicious eateries, shops and stunning views all within a 10 minute walk. We enjoyed Da Aristide for Cafe Latte and breakfast. The scrambled eggs and salad were scrumptious. We also shared a focaccia made to order sandwich from Il Salumaio. The sandwich was delicious!

Very quiet village in early May. Beautiful shops and bay. People very friendly. Make reservation for delicious food and view at Trattoria dal Billy! Billy probably caught and is serving you your fish!

It is ideally situated in the middle of the Cinque Terre but...

It is ideally situated in the middle of the Cinque Terre but any of the towns would be fine as the train service is outstanding. It does have some nice walks of varying length from the town and a superb viewpoint. We could walk easily to Riomaggiore along the Via dell'Amore and back which is a flat easy walk - this was a very nice option and we went a number of times. We went to walk so it was perfect for us but it is on a steep slope so rest days from walking were not so restful. Lots of restaurants for an evening drink and meal. The walking shop is good to have as I had to replace my hat. It is small so, if we went back, we might stay in Monterosso which is bigger and flatter but the accessible surrounding views and the Via dell'Amore might bring us back here.

Directions to the room were the best of all the places we stayed for our month in Italy. Communication was above and beyond and when we arrived we were blown away by the cleanliness, the amenities and generously stocked fridge, very needed after a long day of travelling. Any questions were promptly answered and knowledge of area and offer to help with Lovers Walk access was wonderful. We can't wait to come back and stay here again

Location was perfect. In a quiet part of Manarola but still really close to everything. Francesco was extremely helpful and gave lots of advice on the best way to navigate the logistics of Cinque Terre. The accommodation was clean, modern & exactly as pictured. Small balcony was lovely. Would definitely stay again.

This is very well located in Manarola to explore the village and the rest of Cinque Terre, just be aware that the room is located a bit uphill from the train station, but nothing terrible at all. Also the small balcony was really nice to have dinner outside in the evening.

The location is excellent. The staff are all really nice people and extremely helpful. Manarola is the cutest of all the towns on the Cinque terre and the hotel is 2 minutes away from a lovely swim.
