This was our best sleep of the entire vacation! Very comfortable beds. Lovely rooms packed to the brim with vibrant and ornate medieval-style paintings. The craftsmanship of the head/footboards, stairs to the bathroom, and breezeway were lovely, too. The castle is lovely, we highly enjoyed exploring it. The air is so incredibly crisp and clean. The view was astonishing!

It's a peaceful place. Exactly what you need, if you are stuck in the office, 5 days a week. Family owned business, that knows how to make you feel welcome. Very good location, if you are planning to do some outdoor activities.

The house was so pretty and spacious. Got fast response from the operators for check in support, and had enough facility for family stay. Just one disappointed thing was the house inside was a little dusty, seems it was not used for a while. Also there were some dead bags near the windows although it’s understandable, was better if owner could check beforehand for more comfortable stay for others.

Corte Varola is a fabulous accommodation. The room exceeded our expectations—everything was spotlessly clean, newly refurbished, and absolutely fantastic. My room featured a sofa bed, a massive queen-size bed, beautiful heated parquet flooring, and a super-cool bathroom with an amazing shower. The view from my room was wonderful. Guests can also book a private little spa, and there are many amazing places to visit nearby or within an hour’s drive. Breakfast was excellent, and the host was kind and welcoming, providing great recommendations on what to do and maintaining excellent communication throughout our stay. I can only highly recommend this place!

Mel is a hilly little town that has a plethora of narrow one...

Mel is a hilly little town that has a plethora of narrow one way streets - don't be alarmed by them, they are worth exploring, and the buildigs are interesting. The church and square are beautiful, and the gelateria superb. The views of the river and Dolomites are spectacular. It boasts a Tourist Info Centre, Museum, and Post Box, among other things.
