Our three-night stay was one of the absolute highlights of three weeks in Europe. The wonderfully historic space has been renovated with the modern conveniences you need, but the friendliness and hospitality of Roberto is what takes it to another level. For the free breakfast, you sit down in Roberto's shop and he brings you pastries, cheese, meat, bread, juice, coffee drinks made to order, and fresh fruit until you are full and satisfied. All this with such friendliness and good humor. It's a perfect place from which to start your day of exploring Umbria. The small ancient hill-top town of Montecchio is a great place for elevated views over the sublime countryside (see my picture from the kitchen window), and a relaxing stroll to start or end your day. A good place to stay, but also an experience my family will remember and talk about for a long time.

This castle has been completely renovated but it still has the feel of being old. It is extremely well maintained, the restaurant is excellent and the staff super helpful. The nearby town of Todi is worth spending a few hours walking around.

The location was perfect for exploring Montefalco. We used this agriturismo to be our base for wine tasting. Paolo is so so so very kind. I cannot stress this enough. He even sent us off with some sandwiches and extra snacks for the road when traveling. He is so attentive! I wanted for nothing. He anticipated your needs and wants to make sure you are comfortable.The property is immaculate. Super clean. We were out and about so we did not get to use the pool but the view is spectacular. Do yourself a favor, and stay here! Air conditioning worked great. Shower pressure and hot water are also fantastic. We have no complaints. Would absolutely stay here again, 10/10!!!!
