Went out in the evening in a quintessential sleepy Sardinian town. found the amazing restaurant Bar Pizzeria Rosso 27. the other place was full, but wow, were we glad we got here, great pizza, with local atmosphere in abundance. good beer, and kind family run place, that made a space for us. got up in morning to see the local prehistoric shrine, but sadly we had to leave before it opened at 9am. the surrounding landscape was just beautiful rolling green hills with sheep and the sound of bells Will we return? I certainly hope so.

Few people stay here long in the warm season, as the seaside...

Few people stay here long in the warm season, as the seaside is much too attractive. But the countryside around here is beautiful, there's excellent dining and wine tasting options, sightseeing... I'd suggest checking out the area. We stayed only one night on our way back to Olbia and ate at an amazing restaurant in nearby Berchidda (the place is called Maman Ludi, and is worth the trip by itself). But in hindsight, we'd stay at lest a full day around and explore.
