Borgo Santo Stefano is a historic house built in 1892, originally it was the barracks of the Carabinieri, a place of security and order that protected the community for many years. Later the structure became a boarding school of the Sisters of Charity, a place of education and spirituality that has seen generations of young women pass by, dedicated to prayer and instruction. Entering Borgo Santo Stefano it seems to go back in time, the soul of the house, its history, its splendid and sincere imperfections. The spaces preserve intact the original architectural elements, the high ceilings, the large rooms, the handmade wrought iron staircase, the old stables, the garden. Our structure is not just a place to stay overnight but a real journey through time. Each corner tells a chapter of the life of those who have lived and lived in these spaces, what makes it unique is the intimate sensation of the memories it holds. The property includes an art studio where the host organizes creative experiences, wood engraving workshops, and wine painting. Important to know: the family suite is on the first floor, accessible via an internal staircase. While sharing the entrance and staircase with the rest of the house, it has a full kitchen, living room, bathroom, and a terrace overlooking the garden, for exclusive use. The property is on three floors, partially renovated, and has free off-site parking.
