My recent stay at Lo spedalicchio a beautiful castle-turned-hotel, was nothing short of magical. The grandeur of the castle's architecture is matched only by the warmth and professionalism of the staff, particularly Susanne. Susanne was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. From her genuine beautiful smile to her extensive knowledge of the hotel’s history, she made me feel like a treasured guest from the moment I arrived. The castle itself is a masterpiece, blending historic charm with modern comforts. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, providing a peaceful retreat. The dining experience was also exceptional, with a menu that highlights the finest local ingredients.breakfast was excellent In summary, my stay at Lo spedalicchio was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by Susanne’s outstanding service. If you’re looking for a unique and luxurious getaway, this castle hotel is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Owner was amazing. My son stayed there a night before a flight. He had to leave by 6:30am to get to the airport and taxis don’t start running until 8am. The owner drove him to the airport so he wouldn’t miss his flight . Doesn’t get any better than that.

First the location, not too far from the highway and not too close so there was almost no noise while being so convenient for a road trip traveller. The room was clean and comfortable. It was one of a few hotel I stayed in Italy that had an AC which was willing to provide heating in June. The best value for money so far. Highly recommend if you’re on a road trip and want a place to stay on the road.

We very much like it, very good location, clean and warm, free parking, you feel very welcome by the manager and staff, very helpful and they guide you through every step of the journey, on top of that they are very friendly people who does it all with passion!

A perfect location beside La Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and a short bus trip to Assisi proper. The staff was very friendly, much appreciated after a long train ride. Thank you!

Always try to stay at BellaVista for a night when I’m in Assisi! Makes it easy to have a great cena and colazione before heading down to FCO

Very clean and comfortable family room , convenient/next to the hotel/ outside parking for free, location is excellent for visiting all of the historical sights. Closed to various supermarkets. Special thanks to Luca and Tamara for awesome hospitality. We will definitely come back.

Relaxed atmosphere, good facilities. Very close to Assisi with bus stop practically at the front door. Bus up to the top of Assisi and a very good, easy walk down to the Basilica, with lots to see on the way. Then bus back from there. Gaia was very friendly and helpful at both dinner and breakfast. Would definitely choose this Hotel again.
