The location is near the Duomo and a couple of plazas with a fine assortment of restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location in the heart of Orvieto. Spacious and clean room. We didn't try the breakfast because we left before the service started.

The apartment is unique and very cozy. Everyone who works there is very polite and attentive, the breakfast is also very tasty.

The hotel is located about 200m from the train station as well as the furnicular that connects with the old town. It is also located just 200m from the Bagnoregio bus stop which makes our day trip to Bagnoregio a breeze. There is a kebab place, a pizzeria and a gelateria all within 100m from the hotel which makes it so much easier and affordable. The room itself is also comfortable and the water pressure of the shower is strong. Breakfast was high quality and abundant in variety and it was prepared for us before their official scheduled breakfast time.

Location, beautiful facilities, superb breakfast, shuttle service to the city, comfortable bed, spa, comfortable and elegant common areas but above all the kindness of the staff. They did everything in their power to assist us always with kindness and a big smile. We would like to thank the staff at the reception for the big effort to assist us with something we left behind they really went the extra mile. We will definitely come back to Palazzo Piccolomini.

From what we saw, this was the only hotel right on the main square and facing the Orvieto Duomo, which is the hub of activity. So the best location out of all other hotels and guesthouses in the area! It’s a small and cozy hotel with charming and exceptionally clean rooms with calming blues and white colours, almost gives a sense of being the countryside. Luckily our window faced the alleyway and the houses at the back, so it was very quiet an we had a restful sleep. Due to the hotel’s location, we were able to sit out at the front patio overlooking the square and the Duomo till well into the night—-definitely do not miss doing this! Hotel staff do speak some English as well.

Excellent value for money. If you are walking from the train station, look out for the pedestrian walkway on the left side of the street. If you don't have a data plan, download the directions. Hotel on the left.

This is not a regular airport hotel. I choose it for it's vicinity to the airport, and was surprised and delighted at the opulence. It would appear to be a converted manor house, with al the architectural features still intact. Highly recommended if you need to stay near the airport.

Nice comfortable rooms. Nice bathrooms. Good breakfast. Nice exercise equipment! All good.
