My recent stay at Lo spedalicchio a beautiful castle-turned-hotel, was nothing short of magical. Susanne was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. From her genuine beautiful smile to her extensive knowledge of the hotel’s history, she made me feel like a treasured guest from the moment I arrived. The castle itself is a masterpiece, blending historic charm with modern comforts. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, providing a peaceful retreat. The dining experience was also exceptional, with a menu that highlights the finest local ingredients.breakfast was excellent In summary, my stay at Lo spedalicchio was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by Susanne’s outstanding service. We very much like it, very good location, clean and warm, free parking, you feel very welcome by the manager and staff, very helpful and they guide you through every step of the journey, on top of that they are very friendly people who does it all with passion!

A perfect location beside La Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and a short bus trip to Assisi proper. The staff was very friendly, much appreciated after a long train ride. Thank you!

Very quiet, clean and spacious room. Very Large bed, very good mattress. Large bathroom, quite good breakfast buffet. Very nice staff

First the location, not too far from the highway and not too close so there was almost no noise while being so convenient for a road trip traveller. The room was clean and comfortable. It was one of a few hotel I stayed in Italy that had an AC which was willing to provide heating in June. The best value for money so far. Highly recommend if you’re on a road trip and want a place to stay on the road.

Owner was amazing. My son stayed there a night before a flight. He had to leave by 6:30am to get to the airport and taxis don’t start running until 8am. The owner drove him to the airport so he wouldn’t miss his flight . Doesn’t get any better than that.

This was one of the nicest places we stayed at in Italy. Just a short distance outside the old town of Perugia, this hidden gem is tucked away in a beautifully restored historic castle. The garden, the pool, and the entire setting were simply wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended - a perfect blend of charm, comfort, and tranquility!

Staff did everything to make our stay good!

The Hotel is in a quiet area in Perugia. There is facility if you would like to go to the Centro storico. The Breakfast was good and abandon. If you want to dine at the Hotel it is possible as well.
