BulgariaIt was a really great stay! Filipo is a very kind and helpful host. The room we stayed in was spacious, perfectly clean, supplied with everything needed for a comfortable stay and the balcony offers a breathtaking view to the sea and to the lower part of the town. The town itself is one small but amazingly pretty and hospitable mediterranean jewel. We just can't wait to go back there and enjoy the beauty, the calmness, the great food, the sunshine and the local people's kindness!

United StatesMy family and I had an amazing stay at I Catusi Guest House. Tonino was a very kind, helpful and gracious host! It is centrally located in Santo Stefano Di Camastra. It’s easy to walk restaurants, shops, church and scenic view points (Porta Messina and Porta Palermo). The apartment is brand new and is beautiful. It has everything that you need for your stay including excellent coffee as well! The beds and pillows are very comfortable the best I had on my entire Sicily tour! The air conditioner works very well. We also enjoyed the views from the balcony. I highly recommend to stay here for your Santo Stefano Di Camastra visit. I will definitely stay at I Catusi Guest House again when I return to Santo Stefano Di Camastra! Grazie di tutto Tonino!

No taxi available from the train, so arrange a pickup from your lodging if possible. Beautiful art tile everywhere in town. On the home on the business in stair steps everywhere. Ceramics everywhere, color and beauty. Steep area surrounding a flat central town. Large scale land at right nearby,tunnels and bridges and all overlooking a beautiful sea.

Loved all the ceramics everywhere: tiled walls, tiles in the streets, and artistically painted ceramics all over on display. The walk overlook with the fountain was an incredible place for sunset views over the ocean and hills. A charming little town indeed.

A charming town based on the art of ceramics. Old school hospitality. Close to attractions, but without the tourist crowds.
The sea, the mountains, the food, the art!

Very nice small town known for its ceramics.
Very nice small town known for its ceramics. Clean, well organised with enough good restaurant and bars. Easy to walk around. Beautiful sea view to Eaolian islands from Belvedere. Small Museum of ceramics is also worth visiting.

Perfect place if you like a smaller and less expensive venue...
Perfect place if you like a smaller and less expensive venue to CEFALU. Also good for ceramic enthusiasts and local culture. We went to beach at Tusa Lungomare est (10 min drive) since local beach road was closed and it was not very pretty there. You can pay for beach chair and umbrella rental for half day (15-20 EU)

A good alternative if you want to visit the city of Cefalù. The train station is just 10 min walk and Cefalù is 30 min by train. Breakfast starts at 4:30 and it's in nearby cafe owned by hotel owners. The town itself looks good as well, many nice bars with good prices. If you stay in this town don't miss "Palmen Promenade", it's a good place to have a drink and watch the sunset.

It’s located in a little street in the centre of the historic and particular town of Santo Stefano di Camastra. It was the prefect size for two people for a couple of days. The host was incredibly hospitable and kind, she offered to help us beyond what was expected, for example, she picked us up and dropped us off from the station and was always quickly available by phone.

Staff were pleasant, seemingly family members. Room was clean with ocean views. 5 minutes drive to town centre, a short walk to cross over the train line and get to the beach. Also, the train was surprisingly silent. A basic clean, friendly hotel.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Santo Stefano di Camastra with easy access to the city centre. Easy parking next to the entry to the accommodation, heart warming welcome from the host and nicely furnished and equipped room.
