Communication with staff was amazing all time. We arrived late at night and they were there to support us :) Quality price is more than excellent and location very quite a few minutes by car from Bolonia. Room is big, WIFI is OK, a powerful conditioning air and fridge, perfect for summer :) Breakfast it's included and it's really good! Again, thanks to all staff for making us feel at home.

We had a very nice stay at Fattorie di Montechiaro. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, which made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. Unfortunately, the weather was foggy and rainy during our stay, so we couldn’t enjoy the views and surroundings as much as we would have liked, but it was still a very pleasant experience. We were not able to try the dinner, as it was not available on the days we stayed, but we would love to come back again when the weather is nicer. I also forgot my necklace, and the host was extremely kind and helpful in posting it to my next accommodation. Overall, we really liked our stay and would happily return.

What a perfect and restful place to stay for the night. Beautifully designed modern apartment with many cozy touches so it doesn’t feel “too modern.” Very nice shower which includes a steam shower function - for which the hosts will give you “aromatherapy” sachets! Breakfast is provided in the kitchen with various breads and other items. The owners provide a booklet with all the necessary local info and also will contact you to make sure you are OK. They are super kind! If you are walking, it is a little bit off the Via degli Dei but totally worth it. It’s easily a 10/10!!!

We usually stop in Sasso Marconi on our way to the South of...

We usually stop in Sasso Marconi on our way to the South of Italy from Germany. La Quercia is closed to the motorway, still in a quiet area, on the hills. We dined at Osteria dei Sani in Sasso Marconi, 8 min drive from la Quercia, very good. The property accommodated my request to have a take-away breakfast, since we had to resume our journey early in the morning. I really appreciated it. The room was clean, spacious and fully equipped.

Sasso Marconi is very small and quiet I didn't have time to...

Sasso Marconi is very small and quiet I didn't have time to fully explore but getting around on foot or by car is easy enough. Getting in and out from other towns is a different story, if you don't use Italian Telepass you can only exit from the autostrada at the south of the city and cannot enter the autostrada at all. If you're heading north, look forward to at least an hour of heavy traffic on the strada statale and Bologna's ring road before getting away.

We enjoyed a super nice show for free at the main hall and kids were amazed. This was well published and they also had a workshop which was unfortunately sold out, but as a parent this is anyway a positive sign.

A beautiful ducal palace with special history.

A beautiful ducal palace with special history. There is a good cafe in the grounds, a great restaurant, a wide selection of local wines and foods. There are interesting country walks, our dog loved it. The staff are kind and interested in the welfare of guests. The restaurant service was first class, not intrusive but we did not have to wait long for service. Quality of the food was excellent, the best steak and lamb that we have had in over twenty years of visiting Italy. We will return next time we drive through the area.

Lovely family run hotel and restaurant. Breakfast was portioned (I asked for a mushroom omelette and it was literally a one egg omelette), you were required to fill out the form the night before, compared to breakfasts in other establishments it was poor. Plenty of parking.

What a great little agriturismo. This place is surrounded by nature in a fantastic rustic vibe full of cute little details. Breakfast was all homemade with a variety of sweet and salty, homemade cakes, jams etc. It was such a great stay and I would absolutely go back.

The staff were really kind, the hotel is in a residential area so you have all this to take in you could say the room was basic but so very clean and a good with bidet. The great thing was the restaurant with fantastic typical Italian that was full of locals

Nice pool area even though I have never been to a hotel pool with as many rules and cameras. The view was amazing from the pool and the area is beautiful and in the countryside. It had good parking space.
