Nestled in the hills above the town of Fasano, this quiet enclave of trulli houses and old school charm is ideal for those looking for some tranquility from the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns and cities in the Puglia region. Cisternino, Alberobello, Monopoli, Ostuni, Martina Franca, Polignano a Mare and Locorotondo are roughly all around 30 minutes away by car. Matera which in our view is worth the 1:30 hour drive is totally worth it for those looking to experience a different atmosphere and catch a glimpse of ancient countryside charm with modern day luxury shopping all in one. The town of Fasano which is down the hill has a full size Lidl supermarket, phamacies and many restaurants to choose from, however you will need a car to move about in the area freely. We really enjoyed our 7 day stay in Selva di Fasano.

We used this as a base but the hotel exceeded our expectations. A car is a definite to be able to get around. We visited surrounding areas within Puglia such as Monopoli, Alberobello, Poligano a mare, Ostuni, Santa Maria di Leuca, Otranto, Fasano, Matera. Everywhere was breathtaking, the food, the people everything was just perfect, so perfect we will be back very soon

Short distance from all nearby towns with historical centers and close to Zoosafari Fasano. There are really nice restaurants for dinner (booking needed in advance) and a focaccia bakery. You need a car to get by, to reach the area and to travel around. Beautiful, quiet, lots of trulli style houses to see calmly and closely from the outside.

We were in the area for a wedding so didn't have time to explore the area. We did go for a meal at Happytito, which was great. The accommodation was a bit too far out of the town for us to walk to any bars or restaurants. Useful supermarket about 5 mins drive away.

For the second year in Selva di Fasano..The location of the Trulli di Filomena is a perfect place..Large garden, parking space, exemplary cleanliness, kitchen equipped with everything you need...Cool rooms, although it was very hot outside..Comfortable beds..For me and my husband it was perfect..And the dog enjoyed the large space..Thank you for everything Joseph and Nicola..We will be back..I highly recommend...Everything was perfect...

We chose this hotel because of its location, being in the middle of several places to visit in the area. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, and the view is amazing. A lovely pool too. The breakfast was really nice - it's not a large hotel so they were never going to put out the same range of food you'd find in a large hotel, but what was there was great.

The place is gorgeous and inspiring for relaxing days. The staff is very very kind. We highlight Antonia that all the time met us with a big smile. The communication with the reception was great and he was so lovely too. We have no words to express our delight regarding this hotel.

Surrounded with natural beauty of Selva di Fasano, perfect place to spend some summer says. Central location to visit Alberobello, Polignano di Mare, Monopoli. Great facilities, pool, car park, restaurant, all were great. Applause for kids club and thanks to Annachiara!
