This property exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The location and view is gorgeous! It is very close to the Stromboli black sand beach. I could spend a day here just watching the blue waves. All the staff are amazing and very friendly. Breakfast was excellent as well. They take part in organising the Stromboli hiking tours as well. The guide was amazing and I thank him for his patience. Hiking Stromboli was very difficult for me and it would not have been possible without him. I stayed there only for a day but this experience will always stay with me. I wish every staff good luck and thank them for their exceptional services. This was the highlight of my three weeks trip to Italy :)

Our Hosts were just lovely, the room is cosy and cofortable, but more importantly there are plenty of spaces to relax outside and take in the perfect garden. We had coffee when we arrived while they showed us the map of the best restaurants for drinks, breakfasts and food, all of which exceeded our expectations. We were there to see the volcano and our host booked our trip in advance. Travel around is easy, all done by golf buggie. but it's just as nice to walk around and take in the atmosphere.

Very calm island, I came to see the volcano, so I booked only for one night, but after experiencing it, I would consider staying a bit longer, more like 3 days. The tranquility of the island and the calmness one feels when simply being and connecting with the nature was amazing.

Stromboli is one of a kind to check out an active volcano.

Stromboli is one of a kind to check out an active volcano. It also has surprisingly nice beaches. The island is lacking some tourist infrastructure. There is no place to rent snorkel equipment, for example. Food is a little pricier than mainland but nothing too outrageous.

We walked up the mountain without a guide to around 300 Metres. A tough climb but coming back in the dark is also difficult t pays to have headlamps... we used our cell phone torches which was a bit limiting. The experience and views were breathing taking especially at sunset..

I could and should’ve stayed another day as this would have...

I could and should’ve stayed another day as this would have allowed me the boar tour to La Sciara del Fuoco to see the eruptions. The volcano is the highlight of this island of course and it really gives it a special energy. The port and the “lungomare” - coastline - could do with a bit of work; they could be nicer and especially the port is not optimal for the volatile weather conditions, which makes it really difficult for smaller boats to dock and get people on and off the boat. I walked the island and it can be done - just have proper walking shoes and prepare for some elevation, but again, I’m not very fit and could do it. My visit was actually for a shamanic journey, savouring the energy of the island and I would do it again, just hopefully with less rowdy yachters around! I do hope to visit again and see Ginostra and the eruptions from closer. Who knows, maybe even a lighter hike…

Visiting Stromboli was the highlight of our trip to Sicily.

Visiting Stromboli was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. Watching the volcano erupt at night is unique experience. I know many people who have visitet Sicily but no one has come to Stromboli. Too bad for them. Climb Sciara dei fuoco to see the eruptions. Of coure you have to be used to walking, but it"s not too bad. I recommend visiting in low season, spring and autumn.

The property is everything you need from a hotel stay, the garden is packed with fruits and vegetables which are served as part of the breakfast. We had our own private patio with tables, chairs and hammocks too. Anna the host was absolutely amazing, her kindness is genuine her passion for hosting knows no bounds. Everyone on the island of Stromboli were nice, but Anna stood out the most; offering local knowledge and know how, we were able to explore the island to its fullest.

Outstanding property. The excellent spot for volcanos lovers (like me). The house has around 10 big studios, and a panoramic rooftop. View on the spitting Stromboli, countryside or the sea. Whatever you fancy, you got it!. It is a very relaxing property and area. No cars, only tuc-tucs! Even the local police go around with these tuc-tucs. Thanks to Sharon, to the housekeeper (sorry I forgot your name), and to Max (the dad) for your professionalism and dedication.
