This apartment was so beautiful, and the hosts were so sweet! A welcoming beer is always nice in the fridge and the sitting area and kitchen were perfect. The bathroom is quite stunning, and the bedroom was relaxing and comfortable. The location was central, and the town was so quaint – down the street from the apartment neighbors gathered at night to chat and play games- made me want to live there.

IsraelI stayed here during the winter and had a really great experience. Arriving and finding the house already warm while it was very cold outside was a detail I truly appreciated. As soon as I asked to have the fireplace turned on, the staff came immediately and lit it, creating a very pleasant and cozy atmosphere.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well maintained, with clear attention to cleanliness and order. The TV is large and of excellent quality. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and nothing is missing.
The staff was very kind and helpful without being intrusive. I felt comfortable right away.
Overall, a relaxing and pleasant stay. I would gladly return and highly recommend it.

United StatesBeautiful home with lovely bedrooms (and beds) and private baths for all for our group of 8 (including one couple with baby). Also had a great (and well stocked) kitchen (we cooked one morning), very comfy common living space, good WiFi and outdoor terraces. The home is near the town but up on a hillside. Along shout out to staff, When our washing machine got locked, they came immediately to fix it.

The hotel was good value for money and in the restaurant there was great camaraderie with other people on the pilgrim trail and a lovely atmosphere with fairy lights. The staff were very helpful in telling us the way from the pilgrim route when we phoned them as we were unsure and also in arranging for us to get a taxi for a good rate from Valfabbrica to Assisi when I was exhausted from the pilgrim trail as we had taken a wrong turn and done many extra miles on the route from st. Pietro in Vigneto.

Valfabbrica is a small romantic village with a nice atmosphere, and staying in this hostel was a very good option for my pilgrimage on the Via di Francesco. Very close is a shop, a few bars, and restaurants. For one night on the camino, there couldn´t be a better option. The heating in the room was also sufficient.

The beautiful "Old chestnut", which is what the name of this accommodation means in Italian. The pool was really great, the view of Valfabbrica magnificent and the tranquility really present. As a family of five, we really enjoyed our stay in Umbria also thanks to this unique accommodation!

One one best hotel experience! Comfortable hotel in the ancient castle with it's own tower and dear running around! Rooms are not very big, but it would be too much to ask for that - they are nicely decorated (or preserved). Just wow!
