It was an amazing experience and Ken-san went out of his way to make us feel at home. He personally welcomed us and took his time to give us all the information we need. The food was delicious, the staff friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the morning prayer quite the unique experience. I highly recommend staying there if you can appreciate Japanese culture and want to learn more about Buddhism.

Shimobe Hotel displayed exceptionally friendly and accommodating service for English speakers. The rooms are wonderful and clean and the multiple hot springs are beautiful to experience. There are shows and other facilities provided for enjoyment and leisure. We loved our stay and would recommend everyone to stay and relax at Shimobe Hotel.
