Great location, free parking, excellent facilities including laundry, food and drink vending machine, and a wonderful communal eating area with microwave, toaster oven, coffee machine. Room looked out toward Mt Aso. Hotel is next to railway station. There are a couple of restuarants and a Lawsons nearby.

Easy 10 min walk from Uchinomaki station, so accessible also without a car (just watch the train schedule since trains are only once per hour or so). This is just one train stop from Aso station, so provides easy access to Mt. Aso and the surrounding area. The kitchen is fully equipped (cutlery, pans, condiments, etc) and there is a small grocery store nearby to buy ingredients. Rooms are large, and there is a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a japanese - style bathroom. The piano in the living room was a great and unexpected bonus. We were passing through and only stayed one night, but it would have been a great base to explore the Aso area and we would have loved to stay for longer.

Nice staff (JP speaking but patient). They went out of their way to serve us local specialities for dinner. Everything perfectly clean and spacious.

Clean, spacious, have everything we need. We drove a car so it was easy to get to, near to Aso crater / kusasenri plains - it was a great place to stay to travel to other Kumamoto attractions. The drip coffee was a nice touch. Very responsive over booking.com. Helpful recommendations on restaurants nearby. ☺️
