Centrally located near the train station and the tuna market. There is a large convenience store right across from it. The room is modern and clean and the bedding is comfortable. The hotel/hostel offers a communal space with a large kitchen and a sitting area. They also have a coin laundry. This is a great accommodation for a short stay. I booked it after my Kumano Kodo trip.

I loved the staff and how close it was to the falls. I also loved to experience the traditional minshuku. I hurt my ankle and the staff helped me with a bandage and healing aid. They surprised me when I was leaving with a care package to take home. The Japanese care and consideration touched my heart. They are a blessing.

We stayed at Maru House to be near Nachi Waterfall. Communication with the host was excellent and the house was clean and comfortable. It is in a quiet neighborhood. There is a Lawson and ramen shop nearby.
