We loved our stay at this private cottage with our family of 2 adults and 2 children, aged 4yo and 6yo. There was lots of space to spread out and all facilities to be fully self contained. The host, Mana, set up a play room upstairs with some toys that the kids loved playing with and the beds were really comfortable with plenty of blankets to keep nice and warm. We came to ski the local ski-jo's and the conditions didn't disappoint with lots of snow! The location is perfect for exploring the local hills. We ate at some restaurants in town, and also cooked some meals at the cottage. Mana has lot's of good recommendations. Our host went above and beyond on multiple occasions, it was very unexpected but appreciated. It was my wife's birthday when we were staying and she helped organise a birthday cake and other surprises which was appreciated. Unfortunately our 6yo daughter got sick at one stage and Mana helped to organise a visit to the hospital and translation for her medicines. We will be back one day hopefully!

Breakfast was good with ample of selections. The room were spacious enough. It does decorated the hotel in conjuction with Halloween theme and my kids totally enjoy it!

It was lovely cottage with smell of woods and Very quiet atmosphere. We enjoyed doing the BBQ and very much liked to stay longer.

It's a cosy property run by a family. The property is newly renovated, the room in real is better than shown in photos, exceeds expectation. The surrounding is serene en tranquil, a relaxing holiday. The room is spacious, has a good finishing details, and very clean. The chef is the daughter of the owner whom was trained in France for cullinary. We opted for dinner as well, which was well presented and delicious. A very friendly family. The mother speaks some English and the daughter speaks some French. We will definitely return if we come to japan again.
