Hostess went above and beyond to accommodate our needs for the stay. She was at the pinnacle of responsiveness. The kitchen was well appointed, including with reasonably priced foodstuffs, and the breakfast items were pleasant. Beds were reasonably comfy with nice blankets. Everything was clean. Location was perfect, very close to Ichinose visitor center, but also far enough from other accommodations that it feels private.

Had entertainment areas for both little kids and adults. Had a big chalk board to draw on, dinosaur playroom that was spacious and fun, massage chair that nearly put me to sleep, ping pong table, billiard table, and best of all laundry area. They had onsen too but due to my tattoos I couldn’t enjoy it. But I still love the place.

The staff were kind and friendly and knowledgeable - it was incredibly welcoming and comfortable to stay there. The dinosaur decorations everywhere were the cherry on top of the atmosphere!

Great comfortable Japanese style house, very friendly and helpful owner. We stayed in winter and it was comfortable with the various heaters. Bath with a view. When we came back after a trip all snow was neatly shoveled away.

This is our best stay in Japan ... if you want to experience with Japanese an old house like shirakawago but with full modern modification ... This is the place ... stay and enjoy the area with a very small population but also a very kind heart welcoming from the mother of the host . The location must be reached by private car, and please provide your own food to bring .. you can cook here ... there's no restaurant or shop around.... just green and slow ... Thankyou okasan ... we will come back someday 🙏

The staff was amazing. Very friendly and supportive. Place was super clean and comfortable. The beds were perfect for us. Bathroom clean and with toiletries of good quality. They provide eggs, bacon, bread etc for breakfast. The place is very suitable for kids.
