AustraliaExcellent location. Buva Sea Ferry use the Eden pier and you’re dropped directly at their door. You’re also at the nicest part of the beach, close to good restaurants. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff were lovely and helpful.

United StatesBest place to stay in M’pai Bay! Nice, spacious, clean tent. Just a 3 min walk from the beachfront and you get the best views and sunsets (also the best margaritas in town!). Scott is such a wonderful host. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The manager is execellent, always there to make your customer experience even better !! The food of the restaurant is very good, we even had the possibilities to make special seafood order that came directly fresh from the local boats fishermans … it was exceptional !! Inwas staying in the front ocean view villa … the design of the bathroom is superbe … ( you will found a surprise in it … :):) All other villas are great too and none of the villas are too close to the others which keep a very good privacy ( and for me privacy = luxury) !! The private beach is great too and you have at your disposal free of charge kayaking and paddle. The sunset from the swimming over the ocean is speachless ! For me the best hotel on koh rong sanloem ! I will be back for sure

The team was incredibly responsive via WhatsApp, and the seamless pickup from the ferry made arrival effortless. We were also delighted with a complimentary upgrade to a spacious two-bedroom villa.
The beach is stunning, the atmosphere is quiet, peaceful, and perfectly chill, and the outdoor showers were a standout highlight. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made the stay special.
The only area for improvement would be the restaurants with a wider selection and more local cuisine would elevate the experience further.
Overall, an exceptional stay and a place we would happily return to and highly recommend.

HungaryIf you really want to disconnect from all the craziness going on in the world, just visit this Khmer paradise. You will forget all your worries immediately. You will have all the minimal things that are important for a joyful life. The garden, the lovely host family, the chickens and cats running around the house make this place a unique piece of heaven on earth. Wake up with the rooster crowing, enjoy a peaceful afternoon in the patio, walk 3-4 minutes to the beach (take the hidden path!) and be part of an evening chat with the hosts and the other guests at a roundtable discussion in the green garden. You will love it.

This is a stunning island with paradise beaches and tucked away secret resorts. Travelling around the island is almost entirely by boat or via trekking through the jungle. This is a backpackers paradise which is moving towards having European style beach hotels which will open it up to a wider range of tourists. Probably best to go now if you want to see the real deal before the roads are built.

The Island is great BUT accessibility is a real issue here.
The Island is great BUT accessibility is a real issue here. There are a few activities on the island itself and it is less crowded with a more chill vibe and clearer waters. However, so many activitie are actually on the main island - Koh Rong - so if you book anything online you have to take a taxi boat there and back.The issue with that is it in 30 minutes of travel, sometimes you have to wait for the boat to get full which can take forever, AND taxi boats only run from 7 am to 5pm. Same with ferries.

This is amazing but changing changing quickly with development. It is a place lost in time. Thailand 40 years ago. The started development will change this amazing escape and commercialize the island.

A smaller quieter island than Koh Rong.
A smaller quieter island than Koh Rong. It has a selection of bars and restaurants along the beach. We decided to eat at Saracen Bay Resort all the time we liked it that much) Lovely beach to walk along in the morning with friendly people along the way. We walked over to the Lazy Beach, think trainers would have been a better footwear. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We really loved this island!

Koh Rong Sanloem is the less-crowded, younger sibling to Koh Rong. It is a little less developed but has enough shops, restaurants and bars to keep things interesting. Medical supplies can be purchased at Mr. Nice's convenience store. The roads are unpaved and a lot of the traffic drives along the beach. There is unfortunately a lot of plastic garbage in many places, and something needs to be done about this.

the location is fantastic, it was my second time in this place and i was amazed by the beauty of the place.
The position is right in front of the beach, so when you wake up you can go directly into the sea with literraly two steps.
The food and the drink of the restaurant are really improved from last time that i have visited the Robinson, and now are both very delicious.
The staff also was very kind and helpfull with all of us.
There are also free wifi and free paddlebord for the guest, nice touch!

This is an absolutely gorgeous place, the staff are extremely nice and welcoming and they work non-stop as most people in Southeast Asia. It is indeed on a more secluded part of the island so getting to the other places of the island is more challenging, but that’s not the resort’s fault. Koh Rong Sanloem is a remote island, it’s famous for its pristine beaches and generally non developed land. It’s like a small piece of paradise and we loved our time there.

Great hotel on a nice stretch of beach. That said, the beaches at the opposite side of the island are much nicer (less developed and certainly cleaner - although it must be said that the staff of Island CP makes an effort to keep at least their 'own' beach clean). Nice pool, good breakfast and spacious, comfortable room (we had one of the larger rooms at the far end of the hotel. We did not mind the walk/climb but some people may).

The location of this hotel is really beautiful. The beach is lovely and so remote - it’s just two or 3 resorts along it.
The aircon worked well and the shower was good. Lovely quiet night’s sleep - no music from other hotels or anything.
We enjoyed the food from the restaurant, and they also have a pool table, table football, and nice tables. You eat just next to the water so you have the sound of the waves.

The location was fantastic, Saracen bay was fun and beautiful. The room was really comfortable and clean. The restaurant and bar was great value for money. The staff were all fantastic. Loved dinner on the beach with the fire show. Adored the resort dog Jenny and the pool area. The hotel transfers were easy and complimentary.
