I really enjoyed my stay here. I booked it at the last minute, wanting to just check out Shymbulak before I leave Kazakhstan. The cabin was really cosy and warm, and I can imagine it is a very romantic place with a partner. I would've loved to start up the BBQ, but I only stayed for one night. I got a little confused on how to get there, but just take a taxi to the GPS co-ordinates and you'll get there. The host will greet you when you arrive. There's a signpost as you walk up a hill, and the host was waiting for me there. The host actually helped me get a taxi because I was confused since entering the address on Google showed a different location, but the GPS coordinates are accurate. Going up to the property, it is quite a steep hill, so bear that in mind if you plan on walking to and from the Shymbulak cable car; it takes around 20-30 minutes to walk there. Alternatively, at the bottom of the hill, there's a bus stop, so you can just take the bus if you want, but you still need to go down the hill. I would definitely visit again if I'm back in Almaty and would choose to stay longer. The host is really nice, you won't regret it.

The location is a 15-20min ride from the city but the community is peaceful. The place is well maintained and rooms were silent. Rooms were cleaned everytime you asked them. Sheets were replaced every 3 days which is understandable. The dining area was well lit and had a homey vibe. The breakfast had a huge selection. It definitely had a good value for money. Staffs were polite and good in english. We didn't had difficulty communicating with them. I think the price for the stay is exceptional since it has anything you need for a hotel. The prices on their restaurant was decent.

you can tell it’s a new hotel. really enjoyed our stay! exceeded my expectations. the front desk were very welcoming, always willing to help, also spoke good english so that was convenient for us! restaurant was amazing, never tried such tender beef, servers were very polite and attentive. the hotel also has a spa zone, it was very relaxing, the pool was decent size. housekeeping also were very attentive, caring. overall everyone was eager to help! the location is perfect for sightseeing, exploring. it’s a yes from me!
