Amazing stay! Beautiful modern rooms, great shower, comfortable beds. The hosts were so kind and the food they cooked us was amazing. Perfect place to stay before or after safari. Got up early to make us to go breakfast

I didn't plan to stay at this hotel at first, but I'm so glad I found it! It's a truly great place in Tissamaharama, and it was even better than I thought it would be. The staff was amazing from the moment we got there. They were always ready to help. They even made breakfast for us super early – at 4:45 AM for our Yala Safari, and again at 5:15 AM the next day for another trip. This service was really special and made our mornings so much easier! The rooms are big and feel nice. Everything worked well. Even though the hotel is right across from the bus station, the rooms are very quiet and peaceful. We could park our car right outside, and there was a security guard 24/7, so we felt very safe about our vehicle. If you're using public transport, this is definitely the best spot in Tissamaharama. It's easy to get around, and there are restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Overall, my stay was better than I expected, and I felt it was great value for the money. I really recommend this hotel if you're visiting Tissamaharama!

Mahanama, Sahani and Vibu made our stay perfect. We felt part of their family They provided superb Sri Lankan food overlooking picturesque rice paddies and their huge variety of tropical fruit trees. Mahanama organised safaris with knowledgeable guides to Yala and Bundala. They also showed us the sites of Tissa....temples, lakes, sunset with bats!

Once you climbed up to the 3rd floor, the view out the back of the rice paddies and the lake was peaceful. Maduwa was extremely helpful. The AC in our room worked. The WiFi worked well in our room, but didn’t quite reach out to our balcony.

Very nice accommodation, large bedroom and large bathroom with a nice terrace. Hotel balcony view is very very beautiful. The host is very welcoming and cook super well. He also took us to a thissamaharama temple history. Was very intreesting. We had a great time and best wifi in hotel.

This is a very basic hotel, but it has a convenient location and offers beautiful views. We rented a room to take a nap before heading out on our safari. The staff was welcoming and responsive to our needs.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

All staff exceptional -welcoming, polite, very attentive so pleasant to deal with and so helpful. Manager Charma went out of his way to help with laundry services, safari bookings, tourist info for Tissa, and arranging taxi for my onward travel. The staff member who gave me some very interesting history stories was a bonus. Chef made great meals, and wait staff so attentive. Swimming pool as very pleasant. Locale - very good- down quiet lane a few minutes from town centre.

The accommodation is very convenient, clean, and well maintained. The rooms have everything you need, and the location is excellent—really close to shops and places to eat. The hosts are very welcoming and caring, always checking if everything is okay and if we need anything. The owner offers motorbike rentals at very competitive prices (the scooters are almost new). We also booked a half-day early morning safari tour through him, and everything went very smoothly. The safari driver was excellent—he took us through challenging routes and showed us many animals. It was absolutely worth it. Very close to the homestay there is a sunset spot where you can watch bats flying out, which was a great experience. Breakfasts are filling, local, and different every day. They also offer dinner at their home with local food such as chicken curry, sambal, and other dishes. While the dinners are slightly more expensive than elsewhere, they are absolutely worth it and very filling. Everything was very delicious. Highly recommended!
