We love absolutely everything about this accommodation and especially Areef as a host. He is very kind, nice and helpful - he gave us a tour of the island and always helped us with everything, he made our holiday so much better. The accommodation itself is great and clean, it has everything you need. The hotel environment is very pleasant with a garden - i loved it. Dhangethi island has lots of beautiful places that are a short walk from accommodation. I was visited multiple accommodations in the Maldives and Sky View was clearly the best both in amenities and host, and hope to return here sometime. Thank you and good luck Areef!

The staff were incredible! From the moment we were collected at the dock to the moment we were returned there at the end of our trip we were treated incredibly! Everyone was friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy and had all the information we needed for our time on the island. The view from our room was priceless, and eating breakfast and dinner on the beach every day is something we will never forget. The curry (both chicken and vegetarian) was outstanding! O-dey, Ali and the rest of the staff made us feel very much at home in their lovely hotel and made are stay exceptional!

From the moment I arrived I felt safe and secure,I was welcomed with smiles and orientated to my environment. My room was large, with clean+thick linen which was changed during my stay. I really liked the open area outside my room,a comfy couch and books on the side table,also a fridge. Breakfast was simple and delicious,sitting in the downstairs area amongst the plants and coconut tree, a lovely way to start my morning. A short walk to bikini beach and the cafes,I really enjoyed my experience at Daisy Cottage.

We were two families staying with kids ranging from 12 to 19. We stayed 8 nights. Some of us have stayed at the Dhangheti Inn in the past and due to a great experience we chose to stay again. Our host is amazing, taking us out on his boat for tours where we swam with marine life (Mantas, Turtles, Sharks) and saw dolphins, and spent lots of time searching for whale sharks, unfortunately not to be this time! Our host made sure we did not want for anything, even providing us a home cooked meal which was delicious! The rooms are comfortable and cool. The rooms had flat screen TV, where we could log into our Netflix. We had breakfast each morning and there is a little kitchenette, supplied with bottled water daily and a washing machine for guest use. The Dhangheti Inn is located in the main street, and near two great restaurants (Compass and Blue Moon). It is approx 5-10min walk to bikini beach. During our tours our host filmed and then sent us the videos daily, which is fantastic as it our allowed us to be in the moment and not muck around with technology. There are also some old masks and fins available, which was handy as some of the kids fins broke and we were able to use the spare ones. Dhangheti is a local island so be aware that there are rules for visitors for respectful dressing and a mosque with early morning prayers. We loved the culture of the island, but it's not for everyone. We loved our trip so much that we are already talking of when we can go back! We can highly recommend the Dhangheti Inn and it's our first choice in any Maldives accommodation!

Dhangethi is a great local island, approx 1.5hours speedboat ride from the airport. Be advised that there are restrictions for tourists clothing requirements and a mosque with early morning calls for prayer and the locals are friendly. We loved the culture, but it is not for everyone. There are a couple of great restaurants, Compass and Blue Moon. We mostly spent our time at Compass as they really looked after us! Food is great at both and sitting out on the beach or deck having your meal is one of life's great pleasures! Bikini beach is good, a little bit of a reef to snorkel around, but best to take tours from Dhangethi to see some amazing marine life.

This island was very cozy and comfortable.

This island was very cozy and comfortable. It had a more authentic touch compared to the more commercial areas. It felt like the money we’re spending is going back into the community rather than corporations. The beaches are easily accessed. My wife felt very comfortable walking alone and going into the stores. We dined at all free restaurants that were near to our motel. They have a woman who is a tailor at a dress shop. If she had more time she would’ve maybe taken the opportunity to pick up a locally handmade item. We spent every day diving and snorkeling. The sea life is amazing. Be sure to wear your sunblock! I’m pretty diligent on wearing it and replying it and I still got a little burnt. Everything is in walking distance.

AMAZING WHALE SHARK TRIP

AMAZING WHALE SHARK TRIP We stayed 5 nights - We were immediately greeted by friendly staff who really went above and beyond to make this trip memorable and comfortable. We completed some snorkelling tours with them and although we saw the Whale Sharks here, its amazing trip the staff made every effort to make sure we had a great time regardless! There’s lots of beautiful places to see here, and you’ll be very well looked after! The srounding Garden also beautiful . We will come back again soon. Thanks to all STAFF.

It is a small enough island to walk around.

It is a small enough island to walk around. The locals are extremely friendly - always saying hello. There are 3 restaurants all along the west coast. Compass seems most popular. But all are good with same offering of food. There is a fair amount of building going on at the moment as they gear up for more tourists. We used South Ari Dive for our diving trips. They are professional and friendly.

Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling.

Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like. Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed. However, the local people are super nice and helpful.

The staff tries to keep it very clean.

The staff tries to keep it very clean. They are friendly and would help with anything. The food is varied and very rich. The massage therapists are at a very good level. I did not like the markup of goods in the only store. The ratio is ten times.

Perla exceeded my expectations the moment Dominic greet us at the port, him and the entire team were super friendly and went above and beyond for their guests… even arranging us a private trip to the sandbank last minute. Nothing is too much trouble for this team. The owner Hamila and her son were amazing and I would recommend anyone to stay with them at this beautiful hotel. The rooms are large, Netflix on TV, swimming pool, free snorkel gear, located by the shops and restaurants. This really is a great local island, with amazing people.

It's a nice and quiet little hotel in the south near the bikini beach and my dive shop. The rooms were spacious, very clean and tidy👌They also provide beach towels! Wifi was very good and rooms had A/C and fan. Special thanks to Chandana who is extremely friendly, picked me up from the harbour, kept my room spotless and provided a nice continental breakfast every morning perfectly on time before diving 🙏

Tholal is a very good men, he gives us gifts! When you arrives he gives you a fresh coconout For my birthday he gives me a stingray,sandbank, a lot of diferent fishes, tortugas,and more! Dhangethi Island is a local island in Maldives so do not expect alcolic drinks and big &clean beaches. You have only Bikini beach that is worn off. But the atmosphere is really nice, a lot of corals around and very low costs. Atoll Residence is clean and pretty new
