This hotel is one of the closest to the beach, very clean, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. The lunch is amazing! And the island itself has one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen in the Maldives. There's a small reef with turtles, showers, swings, big umbrellas, and fresh juice vendors. The hotel also owns a few parrots that are extremely cuddly and cute.

The staff were very friendly, location was an around 10 minute walk to the beach, you can also cycle (bikes always available). Close to shops and restaurants. I requested for them to decorate the room for my friends birthday and they did without hesitation! Thank so much Musa and the other staff for making our holiday so special. We would definitely be back!

We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights, and everything about our experience was outstanding. The hotel is brand new, very stylish, spotlessly clean, and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere thanks to the wonderful owners Darina and Murak. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organised. We were picked up from the Thoddoo pier by golf buggy, and the hotel also arranged our boat transfers from Malé both ways. Before arrival, we received clear and detailed instructions about where to go after landing at Malé Airport, which made the journey completely stress-free. The transfer cost was $35 per person one way, very reasonable and well worth it. The hotel is perfectly located, close to two beautiful beaches, with a stunning palm-lined avenue road leading to them — such a pleasure to walk every day. On arrival, we were greeted with a fresh coconut welcome drink, which was a lovely touch. Our room was amazing: fresh linen, towels, two sets of beach towels per person, and even a beach blanket provided — extremely thoughtful and convenient. The room design was beautiful and stylish, with furniture handpicked from Bali, as well as doors and windows from Bali, which gave the space a very special character. The balcony was a great size, with beautiful furniture and wall art. We really appreciated the free bottled still water, as well as tea and coffee, all replenished daily. Breakfast was very tasty, with options rotating daily. My absolute favourite was the Turkish breakfast — delicious! A special thank you to the amazing staff, especially Numa and Tri. Their hospitality, friendliness, and professionalism were truly top-notch and made our stay even more special. Thank you for everything — this place exceeded our expectations in every way. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay at Pamera Thoddoo, and honestly, everything was top-level. The location is very convenient - close to the port, and on the ground floor of the same building there is a grocery store, which was extremely useful. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a real lifesaver after coming back tired from the hot Maldivian sun. The staff deserves special praise. Ali and Shareef are truly wonderful people - kind, open-hearted, attentive, and genuinely caring. People with a big heart. They made us feel very welcome from the first day. Breakfast is a separate kind of art. It was so good that we even asked for recipes of some dishes. The dining area is located on the rooftop, which makes breakfast even more enjoyable. Our booking included breakfast, and for lunch and dinner we usually ate at local restaurants. However, on our last day we decided to order dinner at the hotel and we honestly regretted not doing this earlier. First, it was cheaper than eating out. Second, the portions were generous. Third, the food was incredibly delicious. And finally, the dinner was served with candles and lights, creating a very cozy and romantic atmosphere. The hotel staff also helped us with scooter rental. On the first day, we tried to find a yellow scooter by ourselves but had no luck. The next morning, we simply mentioned it during breakfast and by the time we changed clothes after breakfast, a yellow scooter was already waiting for us. My wife was absolutely happy. As for Wi-Fi, I had my laptop with me and worked in the evenings, the internet was stable and never failed. Huge thanks to the hotel owners for the warm hospitality and the wonderful time we spent here. If I ever return to Thoddoo, I will definitely stay here again, no doubt about it.

We really liked the fact it was more secluded away from all other hotels & it wasn’t like a hotel we had our own tiny suite. Everyone was amazing always available and were so so helpful. They did everything in their power to make us feel welcomed and have the greatest stay ever.

Thoddoo is a very interesting Island.

Thoddoo is a very interesting Island. It has very green, lush vegetation and seems to produce fruit and vegetables for the rest of the country. The beaches are simply amazing. Endless white, sandy coral beachfront surrounded by coconut palms and much vegetation. The water is a stunning turquoise with fantastic visibility making snorkeling an absolute treat. Here you can see many, many sea turtles close up and only metres from the beach. A great variety of fish can also be experienced with ease. The main guest beach has an amazing set up with Many showers, bathrooms, tree swings, hammocks and fruit/ ice cream/ snack stalls. An amazing feature is that they set up a massive row of sunbeds on the waters edge around 5 pm to be able to watch the sunset!! A lovely touch. If you want a more isolated beach, just walk north and you will be blessed with amazing virgin beaches with only coconut palms offering shade and not. a sole in sight. The island is small and can be walked around quite easily. Bikes and scooters are easily available for added speed. The centre has a variety of restaurants and shops within easy reach making t a well organized location to relax and enjoy. As with all the Maldivian Islands, there is a massive spate of construction . You will see a building site on every corner. There seems to be a plethora of new Hotels and guest houses coming. This will spoil the beauty and uniqueness of these gorgeous islands and will put the limited infrastructure to the test. With Thoddoo the good thing is that the construction is around the centre and therefore far from the beautiful beaches. Go soon if you want t o go before its too late!!

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

One of the best local islands in Maldives.

One of the best local islands in Maldives. The island has 2 beautiful bikini beaches, the one located on the West is specially recommended, full of palm trees and equipped with free sun umbrellas, hammocks, swings and sunbeds. Snorkeling around the island is beautiful and you can see many fish, turtles, stingrays and even small sharks. There are many restaurants around the island (only a few accept card payment) and you can taste the delicious local fruit. Thoddoo is well connected with Male as the speedboat only takes 1 hour, you can easily do excursions to other islands and there is also an ATM (for local currency, not USD).

During rainy season the roads are flooded.

During rainy season the roads are flooded. Be prepared to walk through puddles with bare foot ;) The locals are so nice and the charm of the island is unique. Lots of different animals can be seen: We have seen sea turtles every time we went snorkeling, also there is a crab beach with 100s of palm size crabs. We have seen bats, parrots, lizzards and many more pretty creatures. Alcohol is not served anywhere on the island, but plenty of other entertainment around.

Everyone thinks Maldives is a very expansive place, but I can say it is completely wrong they have budget holiday packages, so you can visit Thoddoo Island big green island, definitely we will come back to thoddoo island and I recommend THODDOO ISLAND HOLIDAY INN this is newly opened hotel in a nice location

Of all the islands we visited during our Maldives vacation,...

Of all the islands we visited during our Maldives vacation, we enjoyed Thoddoo the most. The under water life was amazing and much more alive compared to the other islands. The big negative about Thoddoo is that it's overrun by war-supporting russians.
