Highly recommend this charming hotel. The design is tasteful and warm. The room was larger than expected, with high ceilings, a very ample bathroom, comfy bed and great linens. The courtyard and pool area are just beautiful, and had we had more time I would definitely have enjoyed lounging all afternoon by the pool with the mountain at my back. We quite enjoyed the breakfast. Good coffee, breads and fruit. Nice enfrijoladas. What really pushed it all over the top, though, was the exceptional hospitality. Every person we encountered was genuinely welcoming and helpful. Thanks to them for a lovely stay.

I can’t recommend this hotel. It was cheap but lacking amenities. There is a pool but it was dirty and closed. The room was bare, no chair, just one overhead light, no hot water one morning, no coffee, had to ask for water. The worst was a mad dog that barked most of the night. Thin blankets I had to take the cover from the second bed. I think the staff is trying but I would not stay here again.

Really nice spot. Very friendly people, with an interesting lifestyle, but not overbearing at all and you are welcome to be as social as you'd like. A clean, airy spot in a beautiful forest compound. It is an easy and enjoyable ~10-15 minute walk to the center. Great kitchen facilities and places to chill. Washer available. Hot shower. Would absolutely stay again and would recommend to anyone. Host is super communicative and helpful via WhatsApp. It was very easy to get to Malinalco from CDMX via bus to Chalma then collectivo taxi to Malinalco.
