Location via bike path from the hotel to the windmills was short, fun, and fabulous. We rented three bikes right from the hotel. The room was clean, comfy, and very spacious and the host was very informative and friendly. A great stay close to the windmill village.

An approximate 11 minute walk from the train station, the room is above the Hofman restaurant where one checks in and out. The staff were cheerful and helpful. The Dutch stairs up to the room were expected and were fairly steep but was only one floor up so you should factor this in the equation. It is directly across from the beautiful and historic Grote Sint-Laurenskerk (Saint Laurens church) at which the pedestrian-only street, full of shops and restaurants, starts. The main square which features the famous Friday cheese market is a few minutes away. Although the church bells went off all night (there were free ear plugs in the room), street and restaurant noise was never an issue. The room was plenty big with a comfortable bed and nice sized bathroom with a spacious shower and good water pressure and hot water. A large grocery store was around the corner.
