What an absolute gem of a place. Quirky yet so well configured. You don't lose comfort because it's fun and interesting. The bed was top notch with lovely bedding, multiple pillows, fabulous little kitchen with everything you could need in the drawers. It's a place we'll remember.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. It's a very peaceful and restorative place. So many lovely personal and homely touches, especially loved arriving to a basket of homegrown grapes, home made granola and some fresh eggs. The bed is lovely and comfy to. Slept like a baby. Actually, I didn't want to leave! I'll be back to stay again for sure. 5 stars.

This hotel is wonderful 150 years old! We had the king room and loved it. The balcony overlooking Governors Bay is spectacular. We enjoyed a meal in the pub and the pool! The breakfast was self serve with a lot of food. The bathrooms are shared which I was concerned about but they were spotlessly clean. It wasn't busy while we were there so not sure how it would be if they were fully booked. Wonderful stay thank you!
