The décor was fabulous and it was evident the room layout and content was well thought out. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was high quality. The host was very welcoming and there were beach towels provided as well as bath towels.

No real drawcard, except the beach.

No real drawcard, except the beach. Restaurants almost non-existent, no shopping or acitvites really. The township and streets are very dark at night, nothing to do but walk on beach and look at empty wealthy holiday homes on dark streets that do not provide good safety lighting. Not a town I will visit again. Overpried and underwhelming. Much prettier beaches elsewhere. Not friendly at all.

Pauanui is a very pleasant area.

Pauanui is a very pleasant area. It was very quiet while we were there, despite the presence of many classic cars there for the Whangamata Beach Hop. The Cabana restaurant is a great spot for coffee, pastries and take-away pizza.

REally like this place, would like to have spent more time...

REally like this place, would like to have spent more time here as there was more tourist thing to do here than at Whitanga. Nice flat area for walking, good cafe and friendly people. Nice beach areas.

Louise was such a fabulous host. Great with communication, offered us an early check-in, have us a great tour and introduction to the property and gave us some great tips for the area. The apartment was nice and big, very clean and very comfortable. We only stayed one night but could have easily stayed a week. The pool and spa looked great (although we didn’t got in) and it was a very short walk across the road to the beach. Pauanui is absolutely gorgeous. Wish we’d been able to spend more time there.

Women who met us and explained everything to us was friendly and informative. She helped to make our stay enjoyable. Apartment was clean, with good facilities and very well located near the seafront especially for the start of the Pauanui half-marathon and 10k which started about 100m form the apartment. Good secure parking in the underground garage.

Beautiful and convenient home. Ideal for a larger group. Stunning Pauanui Beach is close by. Ideal for a golfing group with the impressive golf club house and golf course on the estate. Good security. Friendly owners provided good support.

Angie & Warren couldn't have been better hosts. Everything was spotlessly clean and the added extras were a great treat. Loved being up in the bush setting and a lovely haven to come back to after exploring Pauanui.
