We stayed two nights, the first night some machinery was left operating and was disturbing to my sleep. Breakfast was continental, nothing special. Fresh fruit and yoghurt would have been appreciated.

Good location for cycling on the Otago Rail Trail.

Good location for cycling on the Otago Rail Trail. Also close to Naseby where we went cycling in the forest and swam in the pond. Also walked to Buster Hut, a strenuous walk where we saw old gold diggings.

We picked Ranfurly to stay as a central point to reach other areas we wanted to tour, and got that entirely right. Great service from the I-site, and the council office staff too, when we had some business to do. I'm amused that your questions say '' ýoung couples like you''. We're both 81!

We were there for a lawn bowls tournament. If you have every wanted to play lawn bowls, they do a social roll up in the summer every Friday evening. Go along, you will find a good cash open bar and nice people with a really fun way to spend your time for anyone over the age of 10

WE had never been to Ranfurly, and were delighted to find such a pleasant town - quiet, friendly with good services. The local Four Square shop was big enough to satisfy our needs. Next time we'll try to stay longer!

Ranfurly is becoming a sad wee town with No Shops anymore think the community needs to do something about empty shops perhaps the owners need to look at what they are doing to the town and their community its really sad to see. We had nothing to do for about 2 hours and found nothing really to do so we had to go for a drive to fill in time. I know the cycle trail goes through the town but needs to be more to do for their stop in the town and only the pub for evening meals. 2 Cafe's were both fabulous and supported them

Very comfortable room, easy parking right outside the door, excellent location with an easy stroll into the centre of Ranfurly (very small!), a remarkable common room available for groups - my second stay since 2023 and it was every bit as good as the last time. And it is such a good-looking building!!

Great old Deco style hotel, in the middle of town. The manager was great and let us securely store our motorbikes. Breakfast is included and the hotel is very tidy. The rooms are quite plain but that is how these hotels were.

Good location right on the Rail Trail. Having a secure bike storage shed was wonderful. Hosts on sight to meet us with keys and lots of helpful information. Good meal options in neighbouring towns and Ranfurly itself.
