Despite our rough experience here, there were a couple of great aspects. The hosts are a very nice couple who were hospitable and eager to spend time visiting with us. They provided bread for our kids to feed to the animals and took time to show us their horses. And the animals themselves were a highlight for us and our kids. The location and settings is pretty, in a tiny village near a lake, accessed by quaint country roads.
