Very nice location in a working farm right outside Odemira, and 20 min driving distance to both Zambujeira and Almograve. Very comfortable beds, daily cleaning, and a simple but yummy breakfast manned by friendly cheerful staff. Great base for doing the Almograve to Zambujeira leg of the Fisherman's trail

Monte da Silveira in São Teotónio provides adults-only accommodations with pool with a view, a garden, and a bar. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

Very nice peaceful stay, nice rural setting well equipped kitchenette. Note to Historic Way walkers: make sure you call ahead if you think you’ll be early. I saw from earlier reviews that they live on the property but they couldn’t come let me in for an hour because they were elsewhere. Location about 10 minutes out of town so shop and eat before you walk here.

O Monte da Estrada is a recently renovated country house in Zambujeira do Mar where guests can make the most of the free bikes and garden.

Loved the Location out in the country, although within 10 minutes driving time from Zambujeira. So quiet and peaceful. Very small place. The rooms are all at ground level with a little patio in front. Beds are heavenly - very comfortable. Everything is spotlessly clean. Very nice bathroom, excellent water pressure. Also has an electric towel rack. Electric water kettle, coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast is included and is plentiful and excellent. Very friendly staff. Hope to come back one day.

We had to take an Uber to get here after a day on the Fisherman's Trail but it was well worth it. A true country getaway, next to a small farm, with a pond filled with birdsong, and a refreshing swimming pool to cool off in. The bed was big and comfy. A tasty and varied breakfast buffet filled us up for the next day of walking. We felt so refreshed and felt that we got to experience a little taste of Portuguese country life while refuelling our batteries. High recommended.

We loved our stay here, being welcomed by the resident dogs and welcoming staff. We hope to stay longer in the future. They were very accommodating, the suite was clean and the breakfast fresh and delicious! Also loved our walk through the farm. Very enjoyable.

Wonderful stay. Owners are extremely welcoming and it feels home-y in the rooms. Very comfortable with excellent beds and both a wall heater and overhead fan. Breakfast, served starting around 8am, was partially served and partially a buffet. Excellent quality and filling. There is a spa with Jacuzzi, dry, and wet saunas which can be reserved for 20 euro an hour. Highly recommended if you have the time. The facilities were new appearing and sparkling clean. Animals are dotted around the property and can be visited at one's leisure.
