Everything about Galagana Charm House was perfect for our needs. We were greeted by Francisco who was friendly and helpful. Prior to, during and after our stay, he was willing to help us if required. The property was exceptionally presented and offered a 'Soft Kitchen' to prepare breakfast. We utilised the washer and dryer available, so useful when walking the Camino. The lounge area was stylish and offered snacks and drinks if required.

As I'd pre booked my stay, I was able to collect the keys to the hostel and my room before the usual check in time, from the little key safe outside the door. The hostel has everything I needed for an overnight stay whilst on the Camino, including a very well equipped kitchen. The owner was very helpful too.

Wonderful place, it is a working menage so if you like...

Wonderful place, it is a working menage so if you like horses, and kids learning to ride you'ĺl love it. Cleaning was very good also the room with shower etc. Fridge a bit small and wanky door but for the rest perfect.

Comfortable, decent price (would be VERY good price if two of you shared a room), pleasant hostess (Liliana). Shower hot and powerful. BTW Golegã is the horse capital of Portugal so don’t be surprised to see some beautiful horses being ridden by very well turned out riders.

The spa compliments the hotel and has a great range of treatments. Room was spacious and naturally bright. Breakfast served has a nice variety of options. What I loved was the fact that freshly squeezed orange and other fruit juices were available every morning.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was large, comfortable, and very well designed. The heating worked perfectly and was more than sufficient, keeping the room warm and cozy even during cold weather. Lovely breakfast and super friendly staff.
