The beach was amazing. I think it might be the best beach in Zanzibar. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was also quite good. Overall a great stay. Will return again very soon.

Out of all the places that I stayed in Zanzibar, this was by far my favourite. The property is beautiful and is right on the beachfront. It’s close to many water activities on the beach as well as shops on the sea side and on the street side. When I did not have WhatsApp access and needed to make calls, the front desk staff kindly helped me make phone calls whenever I needed to arrange transport. I came here as a female solo traveller, and I had a great time and felt so welcome and safe. I even made friends with other female guests who were also travelling solo. The operations manager, Al Pacino even sent a cake to my room on my birthday, and when I requested to stay a little bit longer after my plans unexpectedly changed, Al Pacino kindly sorted out my arrangement at a better rate. The room was very clean with good AC, and the shower had good pressure and the hot water never ran out. The breakfast buffet was delicious and I stuffed myself every morning, even though I don’t even like eating breakfast usually. I would highly recommend staying here, you will not regret it. I would definitely come back here on my next stay in Kendwa.

The amazingly kind and smiling staff, the food, cleanliness, hospitality overall

This property has the best view of the beach on a little hill. It’s really clean, simply designed and has a great restaurant on the top floor. We ended up having every meal there. The owner is also friendly and the staff look after you. It was a good chill place in a great location around shops, hair salons, food and 5 minutes from the best beach in the area.

Our stay had a few bumps at first, but what really stood out was how they were handled with politeness. Manager was genuinely interested in making sure we had a good trip in Zanzibar. We were always greeted with warm smiles by everyone on site and the atmosphere was generally very relaxed. We even ended up booking one of the excursions through the tour guy on site because it was a better rate/package than we were looking at elsewhere, which is rarely the case.

Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. A special thank you to the amazing chefs, who were always happy to listen to our requests and prepare exactly what we wanted. That personal touch meant so much to our group. The entire staff was exceptional—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. I wish I could mention everyone by name because each one of them contributed to making our stay memorable. A very special appreciation goes to Nuru. I'm not sure if she's the manager, but she made everything so easy from the very beginning through our chats before arrival until the day we checked out. She was always available, responsive, and ensured everything ran smoothly. We also loved the complimentary shuttle service to and from the beach—it made exploring so convenient. The hotel even has a standby generator, so we never had to worry about power interruptions. To make our stay even more special, some members of our group celebrated their birthdays, and the hotel surprised us with a beautiful birthday cake! It was such a thoughtful gesture that created unforgettable memories. Thank you for making us feel like family. We can't wait to return and will gladly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality, amazing food, comfortable accommodation, and outstanding service. See you again soon! ❤️
