Beautiful hotel in very calm and peaceful place. Nobody would bother you here so you can really relax and enjoy Zanzibar. I had a double room with ocean view and it was fantastic, you can see the ocean from your bed. The room is very comfortable, all furniture is new, there is everything you need. Hotel is ecofriendly and use reusable glass bottles for water. The chef is very professional and cook really delicious food (it was the best food I have tried in Zanzibar). The variety of food is not big but everything is tasty. The chef cooked lobster especially for me and it was delicious. Perfect poached eggs for breakfast, guacamole, banana crepes. I liked everything I have tried. All stuff were friendly. Very bad wifi. I bought a sim card and recommend to do the same if you need internet. It is not about hotel, but ocean here is almost impossible to swim. Take a water shoes if you want to go into the ocean and at least seat there. I spent 3 days here and really love this place. It is really remote from everything so it suit for people who look for peaceful atmosphere. If you like to swim in the ocean I recommend to mix your holiday with different areas as I did.

great staff, very attentive, open to talk and help, well managed and maintained with care to every , nice detail facility, nice garden, clean. small hotel, very clean,, very quite, far from commercial tourism, I appreciate all very much. and so much like the presence of the cat there. nice small swimming pool and VERY clean.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, always available when needed. From the moment I arrived, the customer service stood out I was treated like a family member, which made the experience even more special. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Breakfast was enjoyable, and the property felt peaceful and well looked after. It was a great place to unwind and truly feel at home.

I stayed at Blue Moon Hotel Zanzibar, and it truly felt like a little tropical escape away from everything. The hotel has such a peaceful, beautiful atmosphere — perfect for relaxing and recharging. The property is well maintained and surrounded by greenery, which really gives you that exotic island feeling. My room was clean, cozy, and comfortable — always nice to come back to after a day in the sun. What I loved most was the overall vibe: calm, unhurried, and ideal for a proper отдых where you can just slow down. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always smiling and ready to help. You can really feel that they care about the guests, and that makes a big difference in the whole experience. Waking up in a place like this, surrounded by nature and close to the ocean, is something special. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic stay in a tropical setting, Blue Moon is a great choice. I would happily come back again 💙

Staff and quite for serenity and leisure

We stayed one night at Salida Beach. It is located a bit outside of the centre of Kizimkazi. By scooter, it takes you around 5 minutes to get to the main road and the main beach. The room was perfect. Every room has a little balcony or a terrace. It was superclean, the waterpressure was strong, and there was even a mini-fridge in the room. The ventilator is very fast and in gerneall the room was very well temperatured, no AC necessary at all. The wifi was stable and fast. The place has a generator, so there are no problems with powercuts. The area of Salida Beach is quite big, with a lot of trees which keep the place cool. There are some sunbeds directly at the coastline on the small cliff over the water, where you can watch the sunset or just relax. There is also a hammock. There is no sand beach, but stairs lead you down to the ocean if you want to swim, which I highly recommend, especially if it is high tide. The breakfast is out of this world. Everyone gets a big plate of fruits, then the eggs as you want them with guacamole and bread and 2 pancakes. For drinks, they had coffee, tea, and a very very good juice. There is the opportunity to have dinner at Salida Beach as well, but we did not try that. The staff was super friendly, they welcomed us, showed us the place, and were helpful with all our questions. We will definitely come again😁

Location right on the beach, the staff were exceptionally kind and willing to help with anything. We celebrated my son’s birthday there and the staff went above and beyond to celebrate him and make him feel special.

The hotel was very nice,quite and clean the view is amazing . the staff was very helpful in every way special thanks to MR Hani the general manager was very attentive to our needs also the Chef Amr who treated us to the most delicious meals also Ebtisam from the front desk .

Most relaxing place I know on the planet. Locally built, owned an run lodge in a not very developed part of Zansibar. Not for people who wants parties and beach life, but if you're after beautifull surrondings, friendly environment and comfy, relaxing days this place is highly recommended. Food selection is a little limited, room standard is not european, and its about as remote as you get on Zansibar, but none of this matters to me.

They are remarkably accommodating and proactive. Whether it was a standard request or something the hotel didn’t have on-hand, they went above and beyond either sourcing items specifically for us or providing perfect directions. Having the owner present and attentive added a personal touch that made us feel genuinely cared for. • The Food: Finding high-quality, consistent dining in Zanzibar can be a challenge, but the kitchen here is exceptional. The food was so good that we chose to eat every single meal at the hotel. • The Beach: The location is prime. The stretch of beach in front of the hotel is pristine, making it easy to enjoy the turquoise waters in a clean, quiet setting.

Liked how peacefull it was ,Was definitely an eco friendly place. Activity offered was great such as Dolphins watching . Staff were brilliant and food was really nice

A calm and idyllic oasis in magical Jambiani. The hotel is beautifully designed with special attention to small details in their comfortable and spacious rooms. Hosts are incredibly generous with their time and very accommodating, they went out of their way to make our stay special. Staff are lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend the pina coladas, the boat trip with captain Hassan and morning beach walks. Loved our stay!!!

We loved the pool and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The property had a generator for lights and fans which if you have visited Zanzibar before is key because they have many power cuts.
