I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hopeland Villa in Moshi, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Their hospitality was warm, genuine, and always attentive without being intrusive. They were happy to assist with anything I needed and offered great local recommendations. The villa itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. My room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to relax after a long day. The peaceful atmosphere and lovely surroundings made it a perfect place to unwind. On clear days, the views around Moshi are simply breathtaking. The food was another highlight of my stay — fresh, delicious, and prepared with care. Breakfast was especially enjoyable and gave me a great start to each day. Overall, my experience at Hopeland Villa was exceptional. If you’re visiting Moshi for business, leisure, or before/after a Kilimanjaro climb, I highly recommend staying here. I would gladly return again!

For my reasons and purposes, my stay was perfect (peace, relaxation, a slow independent existence). The staff and management were above my expectations (professional, polite, helpful). You can easily and cheaply get to the city center, should the immediate community not have or is incapable of accommodating your needs. The area gives you an authentic simple connection with the community. I felt secure and safe every step of the way.

The villa is incredibly peaceful and quiet — perfect for relaxing after a long trip. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed in one of the large rooms with a jacuzzi, which my wife absolutely loved. Waking up early to the sound of birds and a view of the forest was a real highlight; it felt calm and refreshing. The food was good — a bit on the higher end, but fair considering the overall quality of the stay. The small gift shop on-site is a nice surprise, offering good-quality items at reasonable prices. We actually regretted not buying something there before continuing our trip. Overall, it was a great place to unwind and start our journey in Tanzania

This is a very new accommodation, but it has been cleverly and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. You can really tell that Klaus has many years of experience in this business. It’s a beautiful, small and cozy property with a stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay, and above all very safe. The food was absolutely delicious – homemade, with a small but excellent menu. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, and very comfortable. Klaus himself is incredibly supportive, professional, and knowledgeable, and always happy to help. We would definitely come back and can highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

I have only positive things to say about our stay. Beautiful grounds, hotel is kept exceptionally clean, beds are very comfortable, room has efficient AC and a hot shower, breakfast is excellent (as is the food at the restaurant), the pool is great for both young kids and adults (with a smaller pool and a raised platform for toddlers). But most importantly, the staff is wonderful. It’s a 10/10 for me as a frequent traveler to Tanzania
