It is a great value for money. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the Conference center. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are regularly and thoroughly cleaned. Included breakfast was a great bonus. Special thanks to Mr John for accommodating my request for a late checkout.

The view was gorgeous. Felt really safe. The food was pricy but taste good (just hope it was served faster as I waited for almost one hour). Didn't have enough time to use but there was a pool as well.

The Tulia Retreat Hotel and Spa is truly a retreat. We stayed two nights--late afternoon and evening after a five day, four night safari--and the next night after touring the Arusha Natural History Museum and Masai Market. That gave us plenty of time to relax in the beautiful pool and gardens and enjoy the hospitality at this oasis. We had all of our meals during our stay at the hotel. Delicious food. Gracious and friendly service. For example, we asked the desk to call us a taxi. They apparently were unable to source one within a couple of minutes, so the day manager drove us into town himself. We took a motorcycle rickshaw back from the market which was an adventure.

I always stay here when traveling through Arusha. The staff is excellent, they remember you when you are a repeat customer. The value is excellent, not fancy, a quiet oasis in a busy city. Drivers are available for errands in the city and pick up from the airport. Would not stay anywhere else.
