I liked that l brought my cell down with me when the Fire Alarm went off a little after 1 am.
That allowed me to call 911 when the desk clerk refused (twice) and said 'There is no
need to call, the F.D. already knows because they were connected to the alarm' and also 'I
didn't smell smoke'.
I liked it when the Fire Department came promptly when I called 911 sometime after 2 am. (The alarm had been on for over an hour with no action from the hotel; if this was a real fire it could have been a tragedy.
