The staff were just lovely! So welcoming! I liked the fact there were hardwood floors and no carpet. Bathroom was clean. Fluffy towels. Easy check in as well. Cleaning staff were hard at work as we were leaving and they gave us a friendly greeting. There were two chairs and a table as well...made it cosy!

Very clean. Very good beds. Good breakfast. Melanie the evening staff went above and beyond to get us a good room because ours had a light from outside shining in. Then she helped when the TV went out. It was a good stay. I'd def come back.

The location was perfect, you cant see or hear traffic or neighbors. The area dealt with high winds and tornado alerts, the cabin is so solid i felt safe, the drive lane from road to cabin was cleared of any fallen limbs before we frove out for the day.

Very sorry railroad is up against money issues, but...

Very sorry railroad is up against money issues, but disappointing they were not running, name restaurants closed, not alot of shops. Resorts beautiful, golf courses beautiful, but we went to Paoli one day and Jasper the next just to fill our days. They were both wonderful!. Won't be back to French Lick.

We went to French Lick for the area and history of the place...

We went to French Lick for the area and history of the place. We enjoyed the hills and the walkways accessible by foot or bikes. We used the town as our base and went sightseeing in Corydon, watched skiers on Patoka Lake, and met friends in Shoals. We want to return to camp at Patoka Lake and take the trails in the fall.

We were there in the middle of the week in June; quiet, very pretty. Nice that you can see the inside of both glamorous resorts without staying there. Nice walking town. Recommend French Licks pizza and ice cream place--I had cheeseburger bacon pizza (thin crust) and affogatto. Unique atmosphere with Larry Bird wood carving, log tables, patriotic wall mural.

It was the first time there, we didn't have time to do much...

It was the first time there, we didn't have time to do much locally, but we did eat at 33 Brick street. the food there was great and the waitress/assistant manager there was fantastic! I would recommend this place to anyone who visits French Lick. The town was clean and quiet from what we could tell. Lots of old history it looked like!

Interesting..especially if you enjoy history.

Interesting..especially if you enjoy history. We were there for a square and round dance weekend, so ate at their restaurants [busy] and explored a short amount of time. Would highly recommend the German Restaurant...it was wonderful. Exploring more definitely available and easy if you have time.

French Licks is very simple but yet entertaining.

French Licks is very simple but yet entertaining. This city is growing and has all the amenities from the bourbon or wine drinker, gambler, or small eats type of family. Parks, golf, museums and also quiet scenery and don't forget about booking a train going through the mountains. I love it here!

The place was very clean. The hot tub was nice. The beds were comfortable. Wish we had a chance to use the fire pit with plenty of seating. The host left out snacks and a bottle of wine. Love that it was outside of town but only 5 minutes from French Lick. Hosts were willing and ready to come fix an issue with a shower clip. Also really appreciated having things like coffee filters, seasonings, tupperware, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, plenty of towels, and cleaning supplies available.

The hotel was clean and in a quiet location, very close to the French Lick Resort. The breakfast was delicious, especially the perfectly cooked bacon on Monday morning. The breakfast area was kept well-stocked by a very organized woman who also kept all of the tables clean Our room was spotless, and we appreciated the friendly staff. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Check-in was friendly and efficient. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. There were several choices for breakfast and the breakfast area was clean and very nice. The hotel is less than a mile away from the French Lick casino.
