The staff was great, when I first checked in I was given a room with a parking lot view. I was only visiting for 2 days and the staff was able to move me to a view the ocean and the golf course. So much better!!!

Princeville was a great place to stay.

Princeville was a great place to stay. We enjoyed playing at the Princeville Makai Golf Club and swimming at the beach. We also went to Hanalei and dined at the Hanalei Shopping Village. We planned on kayaking and hiking but it rained so we had to cancel.

Lush greenery because it constantly rains. And don't get me started on the chickens, it's a novelty at first glance but roosters right outside the condo crowing at 4:30 am isn't fun anytime. This place has sparse sit down eating establishments close by, they take pride in food trucks that also litter the island. If you've been to other islands, you were spoiled by the beaches. Don't expect that here, minimum hour drive to safe family beaches. Even there, expect rain.

Princeville itself is more of a homes, condos, hotels, beaches and golf courses area. Access to beaches is a bit of a walk but doable. There are few restaurants and not much shopping. Transportation is mandatory so a rental car was required. The area is so beautiful and the golf course, which we didn't use, was so green and lush. As long as one has a vehicle access to anything you could want on the island is available.

Even on days when the forecast says it will be rainy, there are usually times when the sky clears up and you can go back out to the beach or shopping. We went to a farmer's market on a Saturday and the food is so much better (avocados, pesto sauce, honey, lettuce). Because it was raining so much the water at the beaches was murky, but that is just hit or miss in February. The restaurants we went to were all delicious.

Love Princeville just don't stay at the cliffs.

Love Princeville just don't stay at the cliffs. I requested ahead of time 2nd floor so that were could have a view and it was our honeymoon. But they just said they could not accommodate. Not sure if it's because we booked thru booking.com. There just did not seem to be much Aloha. We are from Oahu and it was just not what we are use to as far as friendlyness. They don't answer their phone and they don't answer messages for days. Just would not stay here again.

Central location for exploring the north shore. Plenty of beautiful beaches, shopping in Hanalei & nature walks. Check out Foodland for poké & hot food takeaway at ridiculously reasonable prices.

Took us 5 hours to check in, multiple phone calls to Vacasa, form ourselves and the hotel. They did not send the booking to he hotel. No one from Vacasa has called to apologies for the half day of our holiday lost. Do not book this place. They add loads of charges after you have paid. I was quoted just over £600 for 3 nights on booking.com. Ended up paying £850.00 plus resort fees, parking and additonal taxes, which was an extra £200. so cost me £400 more than original quote!!!

A timeshare that doesn’t feel too much like one (a good thing), but has hefty and inexplicable “resort and check-in” fees, and will charge you 20 USD + taxes per day for your car. Nice grounds and gardens, a beautiful view onto the Bay, and spacious rooms, although they could benefit from an upgrade out of their Reagan style (and age). Very comfortable bedding. It shares a private beach with the 5-star Hotel "1 Hanalei", where we recommend you go and have a nice sunset cocktail!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was great , not too busy and close to beaches. The apartment had everything we needed and was very spacious and comfortable. Check in was easy and the was lots of beach equipment. We also loved the pool.
